I wanted a portable monitor for a while now that was a full 1080p monitor. A friend of mine showed me this one while it was on a "Limited Time Deal" so I took a chance on it. It has been great. It runs on my portable charger (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0915T91JN/) and will do so for a few hours. That was a major need for me since the monitor has no battery of its own but I own 2 of the portable chargers already and they put out plenty of wattage/amps. It is a very capable 1080p 60Hz monitor. It comes with a USB-A to USB-C power cable, a power block and an HDMI to micro-HDMI cable. I don't see any blurring when using the monitor. I mostly use it as a testing monitor as it's easy to move around and set up. I've used it for gaming a couple of times as well and it performed admirably. Colors are vibrant and text is easy to read. The sound leaves something to be desired. It has low volume even at 100%. It's there but it's just not very loud at all. There is also a case it comes with to protect the screen and use as a stand. Protect the screen? Yes. Use as a stand? Hard No. After the 4th time it slid down and hit the table I gave up and bought a separate stand. Minor issue but definitely one worth noting since the case is technically a stand and therefore a selling point. I took it on my last camping trip to use with my Steam Deck. That was fun. :) I definitely recommend this if you have a use or need of a portable monitor. If not get a desktop monitor for a few dollars more - You'll get a better refresh rate for almost the same cost. ... show more

I was looking for a portable monitor to use as an extended display for my macbook pro when traveling and working remotely. I wanted something simple, easy to use, lightweight and travel friendly. It looked like this monitor would work, so gave it a try. Here are my thoughts after some use: + Easy to use with Macbook Pro. The USB-C to USB-C connection made it super easy to use with one cable for my purposes. If you have a full function USB-C port available on your laptop, this is a perfect choice for you. Because this monitor needs power, if you don't have a USB-C connection that can supply power, you'll need to use the included external power supply. + Screen Quality is very good. While it wasn't the brightest out of the box, you can turn the backlight up to make it brighter. I turned it all the way up and it was plenty bright. I eventually turned it back down to the 50% default and that's what I normally use. Note - the "+" button on the monitor is a shortcut to the backlight setting, so it's super easy to adjust - that's a nice feature to avoid going through the menu. + Image Quality is great. The resolution seems to be really good. It's not Retina, but I don't notice much difference between my laptop screen and this monitor. Text is sharp and clear for work purposes, and video is sharp and motion is smooth. No issues at all. Backlight looks even across the monitor and no flickering or anything to speak of. + Speakers are OK. I wasn't looking for good sound from the monitor and don't plan on using them. They are OK, but not something I would rely on for great sound. I would be OK if the monitor didn't even have the speakers. + Ports. Two USB-C ports (one for power and data, and one that is DP compatible). One mini-HDMI port, to use with included HDMI to mini-HDMI for sources with HDMI output. One micro USB for accessories. Everything I was looking for and all ports seem to work great + Cover / Stand. Integrated portfolio cover and stand is a great simple design. I really like it for its simple design and little leather flaps for 3 different positioning angles. I find they work better than indentions / grooves that other covers have. + Pen-Hole Stand. Love the ability to use a pencil or pen as a stand to use in either rotation. An easy travel alternative for a stand. All-in-all, a great monitor for the price. I'm very pleased. ... show more

I picked one of these up for when I work at home and need a dual monitor setup with my laptop, and it does the trick at a great price. As I use it primarily for work, the picture quality is great for that. My computer DOES detect it as an HDR enabled display, which is nice, but I have not scrutinized picture quality for gaming or media consumption. It also has speakers (or a speaker?), but I also have not put them through their paces. I like that all cables needed to connect it are included in the box. My laptop doesn't output video via its USB-C port, so it was nice that it included the HDMI to mini-HDMI cable, plus a USB-A to USB-C cable for power. A USB-C to USB-C cable is also included for devices that can output video via USB-C. I do think they could have gone with somewhat shorter, or at least thinner, cables since running two thick, long cables makes for a messy setup. The built in cover/stand is nice, and the rubber "tabs" that are used to adjust the angle to one of three positions do the job, but they're a little janky. I haven't had a chance to use the "pen through the hole in the corner" method for standing it up, but I do like the option for a potentially cleaner setup if you don't need the cover. ... show more

I needed a basic monitor/second monitor for a computer of mine. I didn’t need a full on monitor and wasn’t worried about this being FHD (1080p) instead of the higher resolution stuff, although that would have been nice. I think there is the option to pay more for an upgraded screen. Anyway, I got the 1080p one. Smaller. Portable. Easy for me to hide/put away. It is advertised for use with gaming consoles and portable devices and as a second screen for laptops. I have it plugged into my Mac Mini (a desktop computer) via the USB-C to USB-C connection. It works fantastic for this as well. The USBC cable provides power to the screen, so no second cord needed for power. Only thing so far is no sound to the screen. But no biggie on my end. Possibly can do with the provided HDMI stuff. So this is good news:USBC powering screen means if you need a second screen somewhere where you don’t have power….you can use this! Not a super fancy high end item by any means. But great for someone not looking to spend lots of money and just needs something basic. ... show more
