Features

  • Easy to follow wiring diagram simplify wiring your dual electric fans. RED to 12VDC Positive Battery Terminal, COFFEE to Fan Positive, BLACK to Ignition, GREY to Sending Unit per wiring diagram. Direct replacement part fits 10, 12, 14, and 16 inch cooling fans
  • Temperature switch turns on fan approximately at 185 Degrees and Off at 175 Degrees. The temp sensor has a 3/8 inch pipe thread, and a 1/2 inch adapter included. Please note: you need to run a 160 degrees thermostat when running this kit with this temp switch. If you got a thermostat above 160 degrees (say 180 thermostat) , your engine will not get cool enough for the fans to shut off
  • This electric cooling fan kit comes with everything you need, includes 40A relay, wiring harness, temperature switch, 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch adapter, inline fuse holder, 2 20amp fuse, 1 spade connector for the temp sensor, 8 ring terminals, and 4 wire connectors
  • The temperature switch supplied with this kit is OE style to mount in the cylinder head of the engine or any water jacket if needed. The thermostat MUST be grounded through the threads to the engine in order for it to work, and the engine MUST be grounded
  • If you intend to mount high-profile fans, you could crimp or solder bigger wires to it. The 14AWG wires (15 amps) are not bigger enough for high amps draw

  • Performed as expected
Pleased with quality & instructions. Exactly what I needed to replace failed wiring on my dual fan system.

  • Good
Very nice product. Has plenty of wire to get it to the fans.

  • awesomeryness
This is a quality kit. I recently purchased this due to the fact that the last one I bought was junk. I had to keep fiddling with it all the time to make sure the fans came on. Not with this kit. It is well made, had two relays and a quality made wiring harness. Now I actually forget to keep an eye on my temperature gauge because this one is so dependable I forget to watch to make sure the fans are keeping my engine cool. They work great and I am going to buy more as I convert some of my other rigs over to electric fans. Awesome product. ... show more

  • Decent overall
For the price point it's not bad quality the tempswitch is too low for a thermostat above 160 degree fans run non stop. The wire connectors are cheap and no heat shrink just get some of these and a 160 thermostat

  • worked as intended
been about a month since I installed this on my 84 c10 with electric fans ..dont put electric fans On a toggle switch it too many amps ..the relays and temp sensor are average quality ..but all around seem to do the job

  • Wiring diagram isn't correct
Got this all installed and it didn't work. Instructions do not talk about pin numbers on the relay, and according to every video out there the wiring should be Pin 30 = 12V battery (same as diagram), Pin 85 = Ground (diagram shows Fan Power), Pin 86 =12V Ignition (diagram shows Ground), Pin 87 = Fan Power (diagram shows = 12V Ignition). Now after finally tearing things apart and 2 hours research, I'll see if the correct routing works. ... show more
