I am a triathlete in all distances for 20 years. I came from the running world and had never really swam until I started triathlon, so competitive swimming was completely foreign to me. It took several years of practice to get good at it and even more years to find goggles that were comfortable and truly effective. After many failures, I eventually found goggles that I liked, that worked, that I could race in, and that didn't leak. I used them for a few years and eventually had to replace them. I found these, they were a little more expensive, but they looked like they would be good. I purchased them, they arrived , I took them out for a swim....and I immediately knew they were the best goggles that I had ever swam in. That was a year ago, and I will NEVER change from these goggles. My daughter and her boyfriend are budding triathletes. I just bought 2 more of these goggles for them! One general point about swim goggles - remember that properly fitting goggles do not need to be tight on your face, just snug enough to create a vacuum if you try to pull them of your skin. For most people, if your goggles are leaking a little, loosen the strap don't tighten it! Over tightening the strap distorts the seal and can create leaks.     • Pricey but Effective

The goggles were pricey but lived up to their description. I have a lg head size and had to make the adjustment s all the way out on the straps which was not easy. They do fit ok now. They are quite comfy and sun resistant.

These goggles fog up faster than any goggles I've ever worn. They also do not tint in the sunlight has the advertising suggests it should. It's possible I just got a bad pair.

    • Very Comfortable, Not Durable

These goggles are very comfortable: the thick gasket is probably the biggest reason for this. They also look pretty sharp. I've had a pair in each of the three colors at this point; the strap on both the blue and the white pairs broke within 4 months. I was only using them 2-3 times per week at best. The first pair I bought - the black - are still in one piece, although the anti-fog seems to have seen its better days (that feature tends to wear out on any goggles I've had).     • Great goggle for open water swimming

I've tested them only in the ocean, and they were fantastic! No glare, no fog, great visibility and comfort! The only downside is the lack of the goggle case. For this type of goggle, the case should have been included.

    • The ease to tighten or loosen quickly

Really liked the googles. Did have a bit of leaking after a few times in right eye. Just tightened them more and no issues. I do like the easiness of how you can loosen and tighten on the fly. So much easier than speedo vanquishers which I've worn for 10 years.

    • Amazing, but should come with a case for the price

Amazing goggles, don’t fog, crystal clear but for the price, I was thinking they would come with a case... much cheaper goggles do. Would buy again as I find something to case them in, and they are worth it.

These are my first pair of Zone 3. I’ve tried them all the, roka,speedo etc. these are by far the most comfortable goggles I’ve used. I love the tyr special ops, these are now my new go to goggle. Super comfortable, not a leak, and no fogging after 1.2 miles in the pool. Haven’t used them in open water yet, but can’t wait. Did I say super comfy. ... show more
