    • Too Long!
The cables seem to be of decent quality, but the one that I installed is slightly too long. Since the ends are fixed of molded plastic, there is no adjustment for the installer to make. Installed cable, reinstalled interior door panel (which can be a pain), and found out that the interior door handle would not trip the latch. Disassembled door again and was able to slightly bend the fork that mounts the cable end at the exterior door handle - still not enough. Finally, I fabricated a split washer to take up 1/16" of slack at the crimped end of the cable to get the handle to release. ... show more

    • Cables too long for 02 Ram 2500
Purchase these for my 02 Ram 2500 to replace broken plastic cable cover. These cables are too long and will not open the door. Since I already bought it, I made 1/4" spacers to make them work. Don't Know how long they will last with spacers to modify/shorten cables.
