I’m proud/not proud of my loss of 60 pounds and of maintaining (of which I'm proud), this loss for more than a year now. Although I tried, I can’t blame it all on the lockdown (but I will probably continue to do so, and for which I'm not proud). Some, but frankly, weight gain is a lie I told myself was containable, until I couldn’t get a ring off my finger and…it wasn’t, and 60 pounds is a LOT of denial. (I will say, it was kind of fun to start taking it off while the rest of the world was at home gaining, but I’m not a spiteful person, although taking a high-road is always a boost). Because I went from a high 30’s waist to a barely 30 inch waist, belts for men have been a challenge as I now fall outside of the belt norm (which I’ve never understood since belt waists measure differently than pant waists). I’ve been disappointed by belts that had more tongue than an aardvark when I put it on, or ratchet belts that I, who flunked all my shop classes, was supposed to cut in a way that would make me want to wear the belt. So here’s a very dandy solution for daily belt-wear, particularly since some of my transitional pants can still be worn, but definitely need to be cinched, else I’d be writing this from jail. These canvas belts have no loops - the metal tongue of the buckle goes through the light woven fabric (so I’d try to spot it since it’s inevitably going to stretch where the tongue goes). I bought in small and it serves my purpose without my having to do any cutting. There are two belts, mine are a tan and a black, and although I would probably need a more formal belt if I were in a wedding party (although the last time that happened with in another millennium) or for some reason that a canvas belt might be inappropriate; they are unconsciously attractive and well made. At least one of these belts is going to accompany me on an upcoming vacation, where the moveable buckle may move a little farther from the end – but will, I swear, return to its initial position closely after my return, right before Thanksgiving and Christmas…oh never mind. ... show more

I like this product; in fact, I have worn belts like these over the years and find them to be very nice in that they are infinitely adjustable as opposed to those that have premade holes in them. Regarding these in particular I like that they come in a two pack where you can choose from the colors you want (I got the black/grey since those seemed to be the most universally acceptable colors with most outfits). Other than that, there is not a lot to say because they are just belts after all so there is not a great deal of detail one can go into about them other than the usual. They look nice, they work, and they are a reasonable price (Full disclosure: I got these for free to test but I use the criteria of 1] would I be ok paying full price, and/or 2] would I be willing to buy these at full price after testing them). I recommend this product; however, there are other options that cost a little less here on Amazon and are equally good. ... show more

These are nice looking casual belts -- the little bit of sheen does dress it up a little without being too shiny. I could easily wear this with shorts, jeans, or khakis, but it's not intended for dress slacks -- which I rarely wear anymore anyway! I ordered a size 34-40 and I'm surprised at how long it is! The stretchy part itself is about 44 inches, with another 3 inches of vinyl covered ends for an overall belt length of 47 inches plus the buckle. That is 7 inches extra on a belt that you'll stretch a little when you put it on anyway, so I'd recommend ordering a little smaller size so that you don't have to wrap a lot of extra around your waist. I stretched the belts out a fair amount to get a feel of the elasticity. The elastic is a little firmer than on other elastic belts I've owned, but I actually like that because the other ones were too loose and wore out very quickly. The firmer elasticity is a plus, but when I stretched it, it also "settled" differently and is now about an inch longer than before I stretched it (started at 43", now 44" noted above). This seems to be it's "new normal," which is fine because it quickly returns to this new size consistently. The only other oddity in an otherwise very nice belt is that putting the end through the loop after the buckle is somewhat difficult. On one it's just snug, but on the other it's downright tight, so I really have to push to get the end through. Hopefully this will loosen up slightly over time. I expect these to last longer than my other stretchy belts did, and these definitely look much nicer than my other ones. ... show more

I've been using a canvas belt with a buckle that you route the belt between two metal loops to hold it in place, over time I've found it loses its grip so I need to keep re-tighten it throughout the day. I still preferred this style because it isn't restricted pre-determined holes, you can get the exact fit always, until it loosens. I was happy to come across the Zitahli stretch braided belt, it has the same no pre-determined holes feature that I was looking for, but wherever you thread the prong through the belt it holds it securely, there is no slipping like my previous belt. But wait, there's more, the belt has some amount of elasticity such that it can stretch a bit when you sit down or when you just had a large meal. The buckle is fairly lightweight so there isn't that weighed down feeling from a heavy buckle. This is almost the perfect belt for me! My only complaint is the belt is a little shorter than I prefer. I got the 26-32" size, I usually wear size 30, and there's just 2 inches extra beyond the belt's keeper loop, I would have liked that to be just a little longer both for the look and in case I "grow" to be a 32". The next size up is 30-36", and I probably would have gotten that had I known about this. If you're on the high end of the range I'd suggest going the next size up. ... show more
