Great zipper tape for bag making. I use it for ITH (in the hoop) bags on my embroidery machine. The colors on the teeth are vibrant and slightly spaced out with some white fades. The black tape is sturdy. I don’t care for the shape or size of the silver pulls it comes with. They are too big for my taste but will work in bags to sell. I never worked with zippers before, but these were great! I was learning to see with this mini-duffle bag and wanted something more fun that a plain black or white or silver zipper. The "rainbow" color looks awesome!! I was able to make 4 mini-duffles (each with a main zipper and two small zippered pockets) and still have a good length and pulls left over for more projects. Do pay attention to which pulls you use (there are mixed styles) and note that this is one long zipper--there are no "caps" or "ends" so make sure you use them in projects where you will be sewing or otherwise securing the ends. ... show more

I used these as closures on some tote bags I made out of jeans, so I needed something really sturdy, and the colors were great. The pulls are sturdy and reliable, if a little tough to get started. The first one I ordered came open in the box and was just the zipper, no zipper pieces. I need the pieces so I didn't even attempt to measure if it was all there or not. I liked the zipper look so tried to reorder the same one. The second one just came, I opened the box to a completely empty plastic package. Nothing, no zipper or metal pieces. I like the idea as a bag maker to be able to get the exact size of zip I need. There is no waste. I won't have to run out and buy a certain size to complete a project. I wish I had known about this product a long time ago.
