Well made e-brake. The all metal construction is really sturdy - no squeaks or anything. Mine has a tad bit of slack when pushing it forward but it has some friction to it so its not loose and wiggly. Minus a star because the wiring is a bit weakly secured. The cord is connected to the PCB via what looks like JST plugs hot-glued around the connection. The bare wires then become the cord but those wires are exposed and I can see them taking stress over time - but this is easily solved by zip tying the cord on the covered portion on the base to keep the smaller, exposed wiring protected. Also, I wish this came with a thicker hand grip or at least an extra one. Mine already developed a small rip which I see expanding over time so I need a fix for that. Overall, this is a great hand brake for the price. Needs a little love but you get a LOT. ... show more

First off, ignore the wire mess in the photo, it’s a rough draft. Now for the review. I play Dirt 2.0 and the controller was so boring. Got a Logitech G920 setup and it was fantastic yet lacking. You can’t use the e-brake on the wheel when you are cranking it back and forth. I saw this brake and took a chance. WOW!!! A quick yank and the rear wheels break free instantly to help you whip around hairpins. Make sure, PC users, to restart the computer once it is plugged in for the first time and it will show up in your settings. The brake and plate is very well made. My only gripe is the hardware. Not well thought out at all. I will be replacing every nut and bolt with appropriate length bolts and proper locking hardware. If installed with the provided hardware, I have no doubt it will become lose or fall off after a few hours of use. ... show more

Does the job and does it well for the price. Keep tools on hand to tighten up bolts that will rattle loose and it’ll keep going. No real complaints for the price. I’m done with mine and giving it to a friend to start his sim journey. But if you have some more money and don’t want to buy twice I would buy the moza handbrake which is 100 dollars with a loadcell sensor, and full metal construction it would last you years without upgrade. So with value and quality in mind I can only give this 3 stars ... show more

The handbrake keeps connecting and disconnecting, the cable or the connection pin must be faulty. When it works (1% of the time) the lever feels preety loose and unacurate. the foam part at the top where you are supposed to grab it keeps sliding, it is not glued, nor fitted at all. first install it gave me problems, but end up working for a few days, so I didnt try to return it. nowadays it just wont work, doestn matter how much I fiddle with the cable. stay away from this and other chinese handbrakes ... show more

For $55, I wasn't expecting much. The spring is actually stronger than I was expecting which is good. It has a decent amount of resistance. It's very easy to set up. All you do is plug it in and map it in whatever game you're playing and it just works. The build quality is decent for the price. It is all metal so that's good. The only thing that's not great is the foam on the handle is very thin and isn't glued in place or anything. That wouldn't be too hard to replace though. I might wrap it in hockey tape or something grippy like that. If you need a cheap handbrake, this one does the job. Makes drifting and rally driving much easier. ... show more
