This is not a cover but a wrap, the attached picture shows my old cover next to this one. This is soft cloth and has no padding or thickness. I have large hands and drive a lot, I need a thick cover so that my hands do not hurt. this is not it. it fits on the steering wheel without much change in thickness and the one day I used it by itself my hands cramped up terribly. It does fit over my old cover nicely though and the combination of the two is both cool and comfortable while having the proper thickness to prevent hand pain. I have yet to find a cover that has this kind of cool texture and which actually is a cover without having some garish pattern printed on it or ugly color and texture or made of vinyl that gets terribly hot. Until then putting this wrap over a real cover will have to do. 4 stars because it requires another cover to be usable. ... show more

I got this for my 2011 Prius, it was easy to put on. It worked for what I was looking for: it's not super ugly (like a lot of covers are), it keeps my steering wheel from getting insanely hot in the sun, and my hands don't get sweaty driving on long trips. However, I wish it was tighter on the wheel and/or had silicone grip on the inside because it slides and slips. I bought some "fashion tape" to stick it to the wheel in four places. It worked well and so far has held up but I will probably go back and do it in four more places because it still isn't as secure or "attached" as I'd like when I'm turning. ... show more

I love how breathable it is and will prevent me from getting my hands burned during summer months and freeze during winter months. My only complaint is the tag sewn onto the outside of the cover that says "MADE IN CHINA" instead of having it sewn into the inside or something. It just makes it look generic and cheap. it would be nice if it were a little wider on the wheel as well. I have a chunkier wheel and it fits but it doesn't wrap around it as much as I thought it would. Made more for skinnier steering wheels. ... show more
