I researched for longer than I would like to admit to find the best way to hide cables from my laptop and Xbox setup on my desk and settled on this raceway and it is the central part of my cable management now. It was easy to install (I used screws) and it holds a ton of cables. When putting the cap on it is easier if you have someone to help, but when you get it slid on it is so satisfying! I have so many cords and even power bricks in mine and you can’t see any of them. Additionally, having the slits all the way down the length of the raceway makes routing cables where they need to go that much easier. The package showed up fast and clean. Once I opened the box the product inside was dirty and seemed flimsy, to the point that I hesitated installing it, but glad I did. Overall the plastic is cheap and the ends of the 2 pieces are cut poorly which makes it look rough. Once I screwed it onto the underside of my desk, ran the cables through, and slid on the tray cover, it looks much better. I used this on my standing desk along side an underside mounted power strip to hide the wires going to my various devices. The only wire you can see now is from the power strip going to the wall. I'd say that's a big win! Again, it looks great when finished, works well, but isn't the highest quality product. Still a good value overall. I've been using Panduit and various forms of it for years. This works perfectly for me in the application for which I needed it, a basement gameroom entertainment center. I wish that it would have been one solid 6' section, but for the price, and the project, no complaints.

This worked really well for tucking everything away neatly, but if you need regular access to the cables, considering something else. Sliding it open and shut is not easy and the teeth get bent/damaged if not careful. Its great when you can forget it’s there.
