The color is that almost-black that oil rubbed bronze is supposed to be. The assembly is a bit tricky for one person. You need a second person to hold stuff as you screw everything in. None of the screws or the pipes are labeled and a few of the pipes differ only in the placement of screw holes so you must be detail-oriented and pay attention as you follow the directions. Once assembly is completed, you must screw the unit into the back wall or it's rickety as hell, and the wire in the shelves flexes if you put anything heavier than a stack of towels on them. BTW the directions talk about short, medium and long screws but there are actually four screw sizes. The longest screws are for anchoring to the wall and are NOT the "long screws" the directions are talking about. If you don't mind screwing it to the wall and you only intend to put towels and toilet paper on it, you'll be very happy with it. If you can't put holes in your wall or you want to put gallons of bleach or backstock mouthwash and family-sized shampoo bottles on it, you'll be unhappy. ... show more

My actual rating: 4.5/5.0 (too bad Amazon doesn’t allow half stars in reviews) Purchased it on Prime Day and just finished putting it together. I bought it mainly to provide a place for towels and washcloths for guests. Admittedly, the beginning process of putting it together was a bit of a challenge trying to ensure that the screws are well placed. After the first 1-2 pieces are assembled, everything else is good to go. I do like that they included items if you wanted to secure it to the wall. I feel this is absolutely optional. I’m going to see how I feel about it being freestanding for now. Without securing it to the wall, yes, it can be a little wobbly. I thought it was an error on my part until I read other reviews. It’s a slight wobble, nothing to be too alarmed about (at least for me). I chose the bronze color to give contrast to decor in my bathroom and I’m loving the small hints of copper-like sparkle! If the initial steps of installation weren’t a challenge, then I’d definitely give this 5 stars. ... show more

For the price of the product it works for now unless you screw it into the wall it will be wobbly otherwise it works and the look of it is not bad. It didn’t come damaged but the directions could’ve been better unless it is just me?

Easy to put together. No need to anchor since no small kids in my home. I love the color and style. My only complaint would be its not friendly with the toilet seat lid. I had to use something to keep it propped open. (2nd image)

Overall once you put it together it’s a great shelf for over our toilet. BUT putting it together was a pain in the butt! The instructions could have been a bit more detailed or at least the parts being labeled a bit better. Took me over an hour to full get it together due to the bottom half and shelves how they need to be lined up and you won’t know till you already have the bottom half done and start doing the shelves then you have to un do most of it to fix it. Love it now it’s together just putting together sucked! ... show more

Love the look. Simple and does the job it’s supposed to. 1 issue was that 1 of the holes didn’t line up but it doesn’t matter since when it’s all together it is just as sturdy as if the screw was in the 1 shelf hole. Came with a small dent at top. Not a big deal. Also came with brackets to hold it to wall but my walls are cement so I didn’t use them. It doesn’t really need them in my bathroom anyway. No one’s gonna be climbing the thing hahaha. Make sure to measure before buying. I did and it fit perfectly. Measurements are correct on the Amazon listing. Color is a silver color. The screws are a little loose even after tightening them but if anything you can always zip tie it to hold it together later on - no big deal. Can’t beat the price and what you get for it. I’d buy it again if I needed to for another bathroom even with the minor negatives I wrote. Worth the buy. Be patient when putting it together it’s really very simple. I did it alone with a regular old screwdriver. No hammer or anything else needed. Also shipped fast and was in its own box a little neat up but made it all the way the the Caribbean islands with nothing missing ... show more

We needed more storage space in our bathroom and it was just perfect. The measurements were exact and it fit just how we thought it would. It looks great. I highly recommend the final step of securing it to the wall especially if you have small children or cats that climb everything. We have both.
