The media could not be loaded. A driver or even a passenger should carry one of these tools on their person, keychain, or in their vehicle's console. Drowning deaths are up, and there have been quite a few cases where I have seen people missing for 20+ years found in their vehicles submerged under water for all those years. If they had a tool like this and could have broken their window, would they have been able to escape? Likely, there is at least one case where that is a possibility. Almost every vehicle now is electric. Once it hits the water, you have seconds to roll your window down and out. Otherwise, you will have to wait until your vehicle fully submerges, the pressure equalizes, and then you can open the door. But at that point, can you hold your breath? Is there an air pocket? What if you have your kids in the car with you? Another instance is a child, pet, elderly, or vulnerable person left inside a hot vehicle. It happens every year. Some people are afraid to speak up; however, you are likely saving a life by doing so. The inside of a vehicle acts like a greenhouse. The heat goes in, but there is no way for it to escape. Rolling down the windows does little to nothing when it comes to lowering the vehicle's inside temperature. Every year, we hear about kids left in hot cars, which are frequently fatal. Imagine how many animals are left that we are not required to report? This tool can save lives in multiple ways. First, it acts as a window breaker. You can break your window using the easily maneuverable tool, where the cap lifts off using your pincher grasp. No twisting or turning is necessary when seconds count. And it doesn't have to be summer for a car to get so hot that it can cause heatstroke. When you break a window, do so in the lower corner. This area has the weakest amount of give, and the window will break easily, allowing a swift escape. In the instance of a hot car, you want to do this on the opposite side of the child, pet, or person. Glass nowadays typically doesn't shatter into billions of pieces but rather stays more uniform, so you will be able to unlock the vehicle and take that person or animal to safety. Always be sure to call 911 as well. If you are trapped in your vehicle, the other side of the safety tool has a seat belt cutter. We all know seat belts are strong. They are designed to keep our bodies from propelling forward in the event of an accident. But that can also be detrimental when we are stuck. Just flip your tool to the other side, and there is a covered razor blade (you won't cut yourself unless you intentionally stick your fingers in there, which you know better than to do) that is strong enough to cut the seat belt off. Imagine your vehicle is submerged in water. It's dark, you have kids in the backseat, and you must work quickly to get them out; this is especially true for car seats with all those buttons and straps. When you're in panic mode, and your vehicle is in danger of sinking, you will be glad to know you have this tool that can break your window and cut the seatbelts of you and your passenger. These tools have lives. I can attest to that. Everyone should have one. You want to have it, and you're glad you have it but hope you never have to use it. Still, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure - Benjamin Franklin. Have a safety plan and this safety tool, which comes in pink (yay!) or other colors. They make great stocking stuffers or an "I love you and care about you" gift. The gift of safety can't be beat. Every person driving or in a parking lot needs one of these tools. The strap wasn’t long enough for my driver side mirror. I have bigger sun shades because it’s a truck and it was at the very end of connection but I made it work. The item itself is perfect & hopefully I’ll never have to use it but it’s good to have.

Heavy weight should make it easy to wield in the tight area of a car. Knife for cutting seatbelt seems dry functional. Has a strap to attach it to the car. My last one apparently fell out of the car.
