The first time mixing this I followed the directions exactly and it was a mess. When I added another puck to the water it became the perfect texture. My plants are all thriving and it's because of the quality of this product. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves their houseplants... the only t
hing I will say as a little warning is to make sure the plants are compatible with it. Mine all are, but there are some that don't do well with this type of "soil".

I ordered these because my local Home Depot didn’t have their organic ones in stock. When these arrived, I noticed that the outside of the box says “Made in China”. Then I also went to view more reviews and saw that a few people had spider mites or another type of bug come out of the pellets. I defin
itely won’t be using these in my organic garden as I highly doubt Chinese guidelines for organic growing meet the same criteria as ours. I also do not want to risk adding any more destructive insects to my garden.

These were worth buying. I have a LOT of dirt now for my cat grass, and I didn't notice any of the issues others talked about (smell, etc). Bulk dirt and seed allows me to change my cat's grass every two to three weeks for a fraction of what I used to pay. Happy cat! :)

I buy these discs and The Cat Lady grass seed and I grow cat grass. It is so easy and good for them. Here's a picture of what it turns out to be. Be careful with the discs when you add water. You want them to grow and feel like dirt but don't want dirt too wet. Fill plastic Tupperware or something ab
out an inch or so w/dirt then put a layer of grass seed down - not too much just covered. Tamp down lightly. Cover w/plastic wrap. Put in sun a few days till you see buds sprout. Sometimes I cover again at night bc my cats want to eat the very short grass. They love it and I keep a continuous supply growing.

I feel like I could have just bought a brick of coco coir instead...I thought these would have netting to keep them together but it does the same thing as if I had chipped off a piece from a brick, which would be cheaper. The coco coir is really good just disappointed in the execution.

Great for sprouting seeds

These little pucks expand quite a bit when you add water! They work great for sprouting seeds. Displayed in the picture are some Chile pepper plants I started from seed 3 weeks ago. They ones that sprouted are looking healthy.
