  • Great stuff
Size: 8pcs
I was resetting a raised strawberry bed and needed to make new light soil for it; this reconstituted well, not as much as I thought it would make, but it worked very well for the situation. I would definitely use it again.

  • Great product, no pests
Size: 4pcs
Great for creating your own soil mix, came with no pest eggs thank goodness so I didn't have to worry about freezing or boiling before using unlike other brands.

  • Great product from seed starters, succulents, and vegetables.
Size: 8pcs
The media could not be loaded. I love how compact the blocks are for easy storage. They are very simple to get ready to amend soil. It does a great job holding moisture while allowing for adequate drainage. I use it in a variety of plants. Helps the soil not become compacted.

  • A bit contaminated with dirt and rocks, but decent enough quality for the price.
Size: 8pcs
I have used much better quality cocoa coir bricks but I also paid more for them. To hydrate: I toss in brick in a two gallon bucket, fill the bucket with about a gallon-and-a-half of water and let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Give it a quick stir and it is ready to use. I purchased these blocks four times this spring and the quality has been consistent - not the best, but reasonable quality for a reasonable price. Coco coir is great for starting seeds and for full grown plants. Less bugs. Less stress on the plants. Keeps hydrated longer than potting soil in the summer's heat. My plants seem to be thriving, so I am happy. ... show more

  • A good product
Size: 4pcs
These bricks are very compressed, so despite the small size of the - it expands 4x to 6x easily in volume when wet. We have dense clay soil where I live, which needs to be amended with organic matter but even more importantly needs to be amended for better drainage. To make new garden beda - I was buying bags of sand, topsoil, and soil conditioner (fine mulch) to mix into the clay. This coir material easily replaced the sand component and is a much lighter weight so easier to handle. Also, when my compost bin this year was getting very compacted and clumpy, I added a couple bricks of coir material and it improved the overall composition significantly. Since it's compact, it stores easier than bags of soil or sand, and I can mix up my own potting soil as needed. ... show more

  • Good product and price
Size: 8pcs
I have purchased 5-6 times quality is good. The pricing is great as well. I’ve purchased a large bale from my local nursery for outdoor amending but I like this for indoor use. Each brick mixed eith other amendments is an excellent substrate.

  • Love it.
Size: 8pcs
My tomatoes have loved the soil composition this year when i did a 50% coco, 25% peat, 25% compost with a bit of worm castings and perlite topped dressed with a fovorite slow release fertalizer. Last year i used 70% peat and 30% compost with casting and perlite. The peat is very hydrophobic if it dried out. but the addition of the coco coir allows water to absorb straight into the mix. Also the veggies grew much faster in the new mix. I will always use coco coir from now on. ... show more
