As a noted lover of pens ( and pencils! ) this pen ( model, not this specific pen which I wanted in this pink color for reasons I’ll leave to the imagination, my initial exposure was as a gift ) is now competing with my Pentel metal body energel as my daily writer. The weight is lovely, and I like the ink. The barrel diameter is a little less than the Pentel, but still has a nice girth to it. The ink dries quickly and isn’t quite as “gel” feeling as the Pentel. Every writing instrument changes the flow and shape of your lines, and this one gives a lightness to the feel and look. I’m into it. Bottom line, definitely worth the $10 to find out for yourself. Ink cartridges are easily found in colors ( I’m using the Bordeaux color, I’ll review there ) and while it might not become your favorite, I can’t imagine you, lovely pen shopper, will be disappointed with the purchase. ... show more

I love these pens, but you need to be aware that it's a very thick point. It makes a statement! If you prefer a fine point, you'll hate it. Ink dries super fast, which is vital for Lefties. Feels nice and luxurious on your hand, because it has some heft. Very comfortable, though.

I came across these about 5 yrs ago, and today, IT IS STILL my FAVORITE writing pen ever. Everyone who tries it, just loves it. It's followed with big eyes and they say: ..."oh smooth". Yep. It is perfect. Super nice, super smooth. Never skips, doesn't bleed, nice bold lines (choice of refill sizes). Love it, love it, love it. Makes a perfect inexpensive gift too (put in a pretty box and throw in some refills). I've given about 6 of these as gifts, it's always practical and every recipient loves it. Makes me feel good to see them use still use them and talk about them too as their favorite pen now. Comes in a variety of colors, but Gold is my absolute favorite. ... show more

I recently purchased two Zebra pens, one for myself and one for my wife, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. Having used cheaper Zebra pens for many years, I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness and quality of these pens. I specifically bought them for signing important documents, as I've read that their ink is difficult to alter, making them ideal for checks and security. One thing to note is that these pens are slightly on the heavy side, especially for women, in comparison to my beloved Parker pens. They are also a tad longer. However, the writing experience with the Zebra pen is exceptional. It glides effortlessly on paper, and there's no smudging whatsoever. When it comes to writing comfort, these pens truly shine. Overall, I'd rate them four out of five stars, mainly due to their weight and material quality. However, their design is attractive, and the writing quality is top-notch. If I had to make the choice again, I'd still opt for these Zebra pens. They are perfect for smooth, high-quality writing without any smudges, making them an excellent choice, especially for signing important documents. ... show more

I have yet to find a pen that writes as smoothly as this Zebra Sarasa Grand Gel Ink Pen. The gel ink comes out dark and heavy, dries quickly, and looks amazingly glossy. I have yet to experience any smudging with this pen! The barrel comes in many different colors, and so far, the white, turquoise, and rose gold I have purchased look sleek and professional. One of the most unique features of this pen is the easy push clip that makes attaching the pen super convenient! The only drawback I can mention is that this pen does seem to lose its ink quickly or at least it seems that way, because it stops writing as smoothly and with as thick of an ink deposit much sooner than expected. For that reason alone, I think the cost of the pen could be lower to reflect its longevity of use. Regardless, I have already bought 3 of these Zebra Sarasa Grands and will buy more. Definitely recommend for pen lovers out there! ... show more

I think it's a great pen. Next time I will be looking for a finer tip but this pen works great so far. I like the gold color. I also like clicky pens so you don't have to worry about losing a cap.
