I'm a gel fanatic! And I'm somewhat of an expert when it comes to them. I've got the big set of Gelly rolls, Arteza, I've got very expensive sets and very inexpensive sets. The ZEBRA Doodlerz are by far 1000% better than anything on the market today. I started off buying a 10 pack of 5 Neon colors & 5 Fashion colors. Immediately I began to doodle. Well, those ten colors weren't enough for me and I discovered they had a 10 pack of metallic. WOW! I'm thrilled to order them. My, oh, my are these delicious pens. The ink flows out smoothly, they're very bright and rich in color and all worked perfectly right off the bat. Still, my craving for more ZEBRA DOODLERZ was growing. Lo and behold I discovered they had a 60 pack. I was in heaven. If you love gel pens, give these a try. You won't be disappointed. 60 different colors; metallics, glitter, neons and fashion all in a nifty little holder. The 1mm pens are a joy to use. I started bringing mine to work and hauling them home each night. Well now I have a set for the office and a 60 for home. An added bonus is their delightful website. All kinds of cool content. I did experience 1 problem with the 60 pen set; my Neon Blue does not work. I was able to color 5 small stars and then it ran dry. No amount of shaking would get it to write. Wish pens came in more glitter colors, and different shades of all the colors. Ink flows great no skipping when coloring. You get a lot of pens for the price. It's triangular shaped for ease of writing or coloring. It's a needle tip size 1.0 I believe.

Smooth writing, good ink, doesn't smear readily. I use these for grading and the students like when I use the sparkly pens. Unfortunately something is wrong with the glitter they use because many glitter ones don't write. I like it when they do write, and the ink is strong and dark but doesn't last a very long time. ... show more

I bought these 3 weeks ago and when I opened the package there was ink all over from one of the pens, it had not a drop left, I then tested a few and they didn't work well, they are really hard to get the lids off especially with arthur sneaking in now and then. So I sent them back and rather than a refund I asked for a replacement they came today 4/14/21. So I immediately went to my craft room to swatch them. Out of 60 pens 5 did not work at all, 11 were not working at a good rate like they wanted to but just couldn't, one the ink is coming out big time and left a pool almost, and probably will be a mess by the time they get back to Amazon, even though I cleaned it. I so wanted to like these as some of the colors are really pretty. I will stick with my Sakura Gelly rolls, some of which are 17 years old and still going strong. My go to Gelly's are the Glaze, love them for dimension and glossiness, they are lightfast and dishwasher safe. Oh and the ones that are labeled "fashion" come out really pretty, if they work, but they just dry dull/matt. I was hoping for a glaze finish but it has just a dull matt finish. AND when dry they are erasable to a point, the glitter and metallic complete lose their sparkle, so I would guess they are probably not light fast. So don't buy these save your money and get something that will be sure to please. So with that being said it brings the grand total to useable pens to 19 or a $1.28 a pen compared to .40 each IF they all worked. I mean really who wants a glitter or metallic pen that if you erase it the glitter/metallic finish comes off? Or pens that over 1/2 the package is defective? I know I don't. The product is not the one in the picture. I specifically bought this for the 'Fashion' colors, which the picture said there were 25 colors, and 5 duplicates, which I would've been happy with, but what I got was 24 'Fashion' colors, 5 metallic(which aren't even mentioned on the box in the image) 5 pastel colors(only 4 are on the box in the image). For those wondering, they removed the duplicates to add in the unwanted Metallic colors, replaced the Fashion Graphite Grey with Pastel White, and changed or renamed most if not all the Glitter pens. I'm not sure which. It's hard to read the glitter colors on the box in the image here. But I can read it will enough to know it doesn't have the same words on it as the box I got. They really need to update the image to the correct product. Second, a surprising number of the pens have air bubbles. Fashion Chocolate, Neon Blue, Fashion Violet, Glitter Deep Violet, Glitter Dark Green, Glitter Rose, Pastel Orange, Fashion Cherry Red, Fashion Olive, Glitter Red Brown, Glitter Bronze, Glitter Silver, Glitter Gold, Pastel Pink, Fashion Blue Steel, Glitter Bordeaux, Fashion Baby Blue, Fashion Fern Blue. 18 out of 60. Pathetic. I guessed at some of these colors because they don't write the names of the colors anywhere but on the box and the colors on the box do not exactly match the colors in the pens. I don't care. I'll give them to the kids when they comes visit or something. Too much trouble these days to send stuff back. Besides I don't really want to stick someone else with this set of 30% bubbled ink pens because you know they'll try to sell them to someone else. They do come a decent cardboard box with all the pens in a cardboard holder which is kinda nice but I don't know how long it will last. The colors I got are mostly pretty though the red isn't as red as I would like, but whatever, it's red so some people would be happy with it. Hard to find a really red pen. They're Made in India instead of China. I honestly don't care where stuff is made, but some people might. It says on the bottom of the box to return them to Zebra Pen Corp. if they fail to perform properly, but like I'm going to waste money on postage for this, I don't think so. If they want me to be satisfied they can replace the whole set with pens that actually work and don't have bubbles in 30% of them without wasting my money or time to do it. All in all I'm sorry I wasted my money on this set of pens. Not saying Zebra Pens suck, because they do write really well and smoothly, just wish I hadn't gotten a 30% defective box of pens. 5 stars for the non-defective pens, 1 star for the defective ones.
