I could probably do without these but wanted specific colors and love the feel, found so many uses; whether I’m doing some art, doodling in a schedule, writing, editing, making a list, I’m reaching for these so much. I saw these pens on a YouTube review video and I was completely intrigued. They looked so interesting and the colors were so unique. Being a pen junky, I could not wait to get them. I do love the colors, they are solid and opaque. The barrel is wonderfully smooth, has a nice weight and feel to it, doesn't feel cheap. The only disappointment was a personal one. I was expecting a unique new nib, something smooth and gliding but didn't find that to be the case. Basically, they feel like standard coloring markers. A little scratchy, not enough to ruin the experience of writing, but definitely not something new and innovative. Again, the color choices are the intriguing part and I absolutely LOVE them. The line thickness is perfect for bold writing and marking. I use them often at work and in my planner. If you are purchasing for the color choices then you will not be disappointed in the least. If you are purchasing for a gliding pen, you may be a little underwhelmed by this click-style marker. Either way, I am glad I have them. I'm in nursing school and when it comes to studying I absolutely must take handwritten notes in order to retain any information. I'm a stationery snob and I have a stupid amount of pens and markers in my collection. Japanese stationery is the best in design and quality in my opinion, with Zebra and Muji being my favorite brands because they seriously never miss. These pens are a fine(r) tip bullet marker, not sure what the tip diameter is exactly but it looks around 0.6 or 0.7 mm. I love these because they are opaque and bold, but also have a slight translucent watercolor pigment to them. The ink isn't super dark or runny, so I haven't had any issues with the colors leaking through the other side of the pages. Japanese stationery is usually a bit pricier so I think $12 for a pack of 12 pens is such a steal. These pen/markers write so smoothly and don't skip even after writing for hours straight. I might cave and buy the rest of the color sets. Don't sleep on these! ... show more
