Zebco is a name I have used off and on for years. This is the name my kids learned to fish with. It is simplicity in a time of complexity. Great reel for my purposes and granddaughter uses it too. (she does not like to fish). Get one and try it out.

Pretty decent click and cast option. Casts pretty far with bobber. Only thing I don’t love is the upper on the two piece rod seats inside the bottom instead of outside the bottom (unusual design), and sometimes falls out so need to make sure seated tight.

Lures that came with it work great, smooth casts and decent gear ratio. The only thing I don't like is the rod comes loose sometimes when casting so the top part goes in the water.

Literally took this out to the lake once and on the second cast the rod broke. Would definitely not be as upset but this was late a couple weeks and then this happened, a replacement would be awesome
