  • good product
Sturdy enough to hold my iphone, dji pocket, and even my full size DSLR! But it is a bit long for my tech pouch. You need extra space for its storage in your backpack

  • Simple desktop tripod sturdy enough for an SLR
I purchased this to use an SLR as my desktop camera for web conferences. I have been entirely happy with it. The ball head is strong enough to hold an SLR with a heavy wide angle lens, and the feet have rubber tips and don't seem to slip on my desk (which was one of my original concerns). You cannot change the height of the tripod, but I understood that before I purchased this. If you have the right expectations, I think that this is solid tripod. ... show more

  • Recommend for tabletop product photography
Works really well for a tabletop tripod for close-ups of product. I am using with a Canon 80d. Is able to support the weight without slipping, which I was concerned might be a problem. I thought I might be able to adjust height off of the table a little bit, but can't. That may be due to weight of camera. Might be able to adjust height if using a smartphone or lightweight point and shoot. Overall, great product. Good weight to the product, not cheap plastic. ... show more

  • Not sturdy for DSLR Cameras, not a gimbal
Buyer beware: this is definitely not a gimbal, and struggles to hold up a DSLR camera. Probably better for phones alone. The feet of the tripod are not stable and do not lock, they constantly slide under the weight of a real camera. Occasionally able to hold up a camera if the legs of the tripod are just barely opened, but then it is incredibly unstable and constantly at risk of falling over. Don’t even think about using a telephoto lens with this, it will immediately topple over. Really stressful to step away from it, your camera is always at risk of toppling over and breaking. ... show more

  • Solid mini-tripod!
Overall, I am very pleased with this mini-tripod. It is lightweight, stable when fully in the flat position, and the ball-head works extremely well with my Canon 6D Mark II and a Canon 24-105 lens. The only reason I gave 4 rather than 5 stars is that the stability is less assured when the legs are anything other than nearly flat. Overall, for the purchase price, this is a solid investment. ... show more

  • Works just fine, but the legs don't stay closed
The build seems good, just wish the legs would have some tension or snap to stay closed. They basically flop open. So, if you have this attached to the end of your selfie stick, you will need to put a rubber band or something to keep it closed.

  • Straightforward and easy to use, well built.
Was a bit hesitant because of seemingly mixed reviews. I bought two for use with the HQ Raspberry Pi camera. They’re all metal with rubber on the feet. Appear to be really well built, the screw threading is not skewed the ball and rotation functions work perfectly. Easily locked into place with little to no effort to do so. Pretty nice little pieces of gear. ... show more
