Bought these a long time ago, just recently started using the next size up. I was already at a 00 when I purchased, but my ears were begging to go bigger. Going up to 7/16" was painfully easy! A little petroleum jelly (and a deep breath) helped the taper through. Some walking it off because FRACK THAT HURT, but then pushing the taper out with the tunnel was SO easy, and the pain went away almost instantly. OBVIOUSLY my pain tolerance is all me, and not related to this kit in any way. Tapers came in individual, labeled baggies - tunnels all came in one bigger, unlabeled baggie. Only thing I would suggest is maybe putting the coordinating tapers/tunnels in the same baggies as a trio, just for ease of separation. It wasn't a big deal for me to do it, I'm just weird about organization. If you line them all up, you can totally tell the difference! Also love the materials - acrylic is great for the tapers, and surgical steel for the tunnels, I don't get any irritation or any smelliness, really (those with gauges know what I mean).     • Be prepared to solve the packaging puzzle.
These come all lumped together in a bag. Some things were in smaller bags, others were not. I had to spend time getting everything (by eyeball mind you, since there are no markings) into correct groups. Once that’s done, it does what it says. The reviews saying they need two tapers don’t understand the point. They aren’t tapers you wear for a long time, they are just to facilitate placing the new size. honestly, not worth the buy if you’re stretching both ears at the same time. as the description states, it only comes with a single acrylic taper and tunnel in each size. not really worth the money you’re paying, imo. the plugs are great, but had I read the description before, i wouldn’t have purchased them. they did however arrive faster than stated which was pretty cool. ... show more

maybe i didn't read that only one taper per size would be sent. not only that, but everything was pretty unorganized. all plugs thrown in together. tapers all over, no indication of size and had to sort through based on my tapered 00 plugs upon arrival for next size.

I received every size as described. Each come in their own little bags, so no guessing game, which is really nice. I needed the larger end of these sizes and this was the cheapest with the best reviews I could find. The metal tunnels do feel a little cheap but I never keep them in for long after sizing up anyway so it wasn’t a deal breaker for what I needed. ... show more
