With how many different sellers I saw copying and pasting this product, I thought it would be a scam, thin and flimsy, poor build. But, I loved the idea of it so I bought it. Worst case I could return it. I am pleasantly surprised. First of all the fit is the best I’ve ever had, which is new to me having a wiry frame. It’s flattering, and hugs your arms comfortably with great stretch in the fabric. It has a beautiful pattern which feels great on the outside, color is lovely, and it feels like it is built very well. The fabric has a great weight to it and is very warm and breathable.It isn’t the softest, especially how it’s woven with ridges on the inside to make the pattern— it’s not itchy, but I would have liked an inner lining. (This opinion is made prior to first wash). The “leather” patch and pull string tabs are garbage plastic, but they can be easily removed without damaging the garment. We will see how it holds to time, but I will be wearing this for as long as it lasts. It genuinely is as shown in the images, and is an amazing deal for the money. ... show more

Style is subjective. I personally like this sweater-hoodie. It appeals to my sense of taste. I have a couple of traditional cotton hoodies, a couple of synthetic blend hoodies, and now this knit sweater hoodie. I purchased this one for a special occasion; everyone was wearing Christmas sweaters or Christmas color sweaters. Being a fan of hoodies, I decided to give this a try, and now I think this one is rapidly becoming my favorite. We're asked to rate specific aspects: softness, comfort, stretch, fit. I always read the sizing directions and I don't recall what they said but, whatever they said, I followed their recommendations, and the fit is perfect. I left the "stretch" blank because with the fit being "perfect" I'm not looking for any stretch. Maybe the stretch rating is in reference to if the product, through general wash and wear stretches out over time. If that is what the stretch rating is asking, I've not noticed any degradation in the fit or material over the year I've had this sweater. I'm not real certain what the "softness" rating was either but, I just gave it the full five stars. It's comfortable and I like it. ... show more

Amazon suggested X-large. He normally wears a large, so I ordered both sizes. The large fit him perfectly. It is a slim fit and more of a dress up sweatshirt. Normally, when I purchase an article of clothing from Amazon, it can be hit or miss. When this arrived, I had already planned on giving it as a gift to someone else. If it did not fit me, rather than return it. That’s because I liked the style and the knit pattern is somewhat unique. I was thrilled when it arrived at how lightweight it was. My second shock was after unfolding it, that it actually looked large enough for me. When I put it on, it was snug, but not tight. The arm length was perfect! Many times when the fit is right around the mid-section, the arms are typically short. Love this! Color was spot on, fit was as expected and the waffle pattern is super nice. I saw some comments about the “scratchy” material but I don’t find that to be true. It’s not like a cotton Tshirt but it’s soft enough to be extremely comfortable.
