    • Not even planned obsolescence; just planned failure.
It came missing one of those little rubber inserts you put inside the feet of the monitor to prevent it from sliding around on the desk. I should have known then and there. It worked as it was supposed to for about a month, (conveniently when the warranty ends) then it started to crap out. The screen would go into sleep mode after so many minutes of disuse and when I went to wake it up again, the displayed image would be missing half of the pixels it normally uses. Pictures and videos would look scratchy and incomplete. Resetting the computer and messing with the monitor's options did nothing to alleviate this problem. As far as I can tell, I've been had. There is no phone number by which to contact this company. It would seem that "Z-EDGE" builds lemons and sells them to unsuspecting consumers so they can pad their wallets. ... show more
