UPDATED REVIEW: they earned 5 stars immediately!! The company reached out to me very quickly and came up with the solution to refund me so I could repurchase a completely new one from them. Not only did they apologize for the first damaged product, but they made sure baby boy got another chance at receiving a quality item. Thanks again for quality customer service it makes a world of difference. Original Review: I was beyond excited to add this ‘Boston Green’ changing basket to my nursery. It’s just the pop of color I was searching for. Believe me when I say, I searched long and hard for anything not Pink, Blue or boho Tan and White. So, when I came across this particular item I was very excited. We’re expecting baby boy this spring and in the final stages of adding to his nursery. Anyhow, I was unfortunately very disappointed to unpack the item to find a hole in the cover, right along the seam (zipper side). I was unfolding/unpacking the item to let it rest for 24 hours as the directions state and came across this hole in the side of the cover. Very saddened to find this right away. I will say the woven basket feels of good quality and sturdy. Thick and rich in color. As for the white included cover it’s very thin, and obviously not sewn properly. This is worrisome for me because this will get the most ‘wear and tear’ as you remove it clean/wash. ... show more

    • Cover isn't waterproof, but you can buy an upgraded one that is.

When the seller heard how much trouble I was having with the cover not being waterproof (it is only water resistant), they offered to replace it for free with a new upgraded pad and cover that they sell. The replacement cover is really nice! I'd really recommend buying it to go with this basket. The replacement mattress/pad is also firmer, which some people might like better. Personally I like the pad that comes with the basket because it's a little squishier. But I would've definitely bought the extra cover and pad if they had sold it at the time I bought the basket! I'm super pleased with both products and the customer service is awesome. Here is my original review: I love the basket itself. I'm using it in my bed for baby to sleep in, and it is literally the only bed/bassinet he'll actually fall asleep in. He stayed up all night screaming in everything else, even other mini/travel bassinets that are meant to go in mom's bed. Unfortunately the cover isn't waterproof. So every time the baby has a leaky diaper or spits up, it soaks right into the foam pad. I imagine this must be even more frustrating if you're actually using the basket as a changing table. ... show more

Due to how it was packaged, it is super wrinkly and does not have its advertised shape… I’m considering steaming it? Not sure yet what to do. The cushion is soft and serves its purpose.
