This is a low end tablet that lives up to the sub $100 price. It is cheaply made of plastic. The durability is suspect and a protective case is nearly impossible to find to fit correctly. It functions "okay", is slow to boot up and has poor - average responsiveness once booted up. The cameras are abysmal, basically unusable. The resolution is terrible as is the image in every respect. Video capture is just as bad if not worse. Audio quality is as bad as the video. BIG fail. Fortunately I purchased this for displaying guitar tabs and song lyrics. For that it works fine. It works okay for surfing the internet etc. The wifi and Bluetooth function fine. The display isn't bad and it can stream video reasonably well. I couldn't possibly give it more than 3 stars. It will work for the purpose I picked it up for, but it would be a poor choice for much beyond that. I believe that a lot of the positive reviews are a result of the seller offering "free gifts" for leaving a positive review. These contacts come when you contact for warranty registration. They are in a hurry to get you to leave a good review before you really have time to assess the tablet. The "free" gift offer included with the packaging turns into a "free gift" only after you leave the positive review. If this is all you can afford, it does work. If you can afford more, get a name brand that has better build quality and components, as well as accessories like a protective case readily available. ... show more

A ton of problems with this device. I bought this tablet to replace my Kindle because it cannot access the Google app store. When using Instagram and Facebook videos reels are distorted so badly you cannot see the picture. It's very strange because it doesn't happen on every video just 1 out of every 2-3. I thought it was the apps themselves so I reinstalled them, cleared caches, updated, sent bug reports to them, etc. No change, however videos play without any trouble through YouTube and other streaming video channels. I could not access Pinterest through the app button until recently. Suddenly one day it started working. All apps were downloaded from Google. Wifi connection works fine along with Bluetooth. It's also very "glitchy" and gets stuck and freezes up a lot when simply scrolling. Camera has no redeeming factors either. The front camera will not even center. I'm so disappointed. I thought with the amount RAM it would do better. Don't buy this tablet. Spend the extra to get a dependable one. I will go back to using my Kindle. ... show more

Bought this during prime day for my son and so far it’s great. No issues setting it up, and I placed a 128 gig storage card with no issues. Downloading apps has been easy, however I noticed that I couldn’t buy a subscription to a kid educational app when I set it up as a kids account, so if you plan on buying anything don’t bother setting it up as a kids account. Other than that mild annoyance, I’ve had no issues with battery life or charging. My son is the primary user and pretty much plays kids games on that educational app or watches kid videos.     • Not just slow, S L O W . . . . (And fairly crummy screen)

I bought two of these for my children, who needed a device for research and library material. No games, and very minimal web browsing. Mostly just text and pictures. I *thought* these would be good enough for that. The specs seemed to indicate that they'd be OK: Android 11, with a decent amount of RAM and CPU speed. Nope. They are *really* slow. Opening an app takes a number of seconds. Just clicking OK on something can take 2+ seconds -- enough that you think you didn't press right and try again, which just confuses things and quickly becomes a mess. I've been a longtime iPad user, and I've never seen *any* iPad function that slowly -- even a 5-year-old device works better than this. It's almost unusable right out of the box. What will it be like in a year or two? In addition, I found that in one of the library apps that streaming videos did not work. If you *downloaded* the video, it would play; but it would not stream. None of my other devices had this problem, with the same app and video. But both of these tablets did. Plus the screens kinda suck. Not only are the pixels very evident, there's very little sharpness and contrast, and if you try turning up the brightness it just washes everything out. The screens work, but they are pretty unpleasant to look at for any length of time. So I ended up returning these and buying the 9th Gen iPad. Yes, the iPads are almost 3 times as expensive. But they actually *work*, and I can expect that they will still work in at least 2-3 years. I really wanted an inexpensive tablet to get the job done. But I truly don't know what you could use these for. UPDATE: For the past months, I've been receiving e-mails from them -- like a dozen or more. First it was after I started the return but before I sent back the tablets offering me $60 off if I kept the tablets. OK, returns are expensive, and maybe it's cheaper to offer a discount than deal with the return. But since I returned them, they've been offering me $50 just to take down my review. Not gonna do it.
