  • Bearing Kit AK SET10 for Dana 44
Style: Dana 44 & Model 20, Flanged
Do NOT purchase these - Yukon Gear and Axle are not good products, nor are they a good company! Purchased Bearing and Seal kit AK SET10 for a Dana 44 (Jeep Wrangler Rear axle). Followed the included instructions. After installation found the instructions were inaccurate. Had to destroy both set of bearing to remove them. Specifically the instructions include a graphic that indicates orientation of clamping plate lip (toward axle flange). Only after install did I realize the instructions were wrong! Contacted Yukon for refund they indicated: 1. Wrangler axles are different and clamping plate orientation depends on Disc/Drum brakes (not in instruction). 2. A $400 tool is available to remove the bearings, I didn't have to destroy them. (Thanks). The instructions also indicate: Not following instructions could lead to bearing failure! I have bought many Yukon bearings over the years - never again! Lesson learned. ... show more

  • Very nice. Great quality would use again
Style: Ford 10.5 Rear
Everything you need for a single rear wheel. However, be careful not to cast aside the oil slinger--this kit doesn't include one (none do) and it is a dealer part that they often don't have in stock. The oil slinger tabs go toward the bearings. Just be careful to note the set up when you take it all apart. Lots of youtube videos out there. Be sure to pack the bearings with grease when you install as it takes a bit for the differential oil to migrate through the bearings. Some videos have you installing the seal on the axle--DON'T. Install on the wheel side and then put on the axle. I did it the other way (put seal on axle) and had to do it twice (diff. oil leaked). I really like that this kit comes with the bearings and the races for the bearings--they should be replaced together. New bearings won't last long in old races. ... show more

  • Junk. Waste of time and money. AVOID. AVOID.
Style: Various 2.530" OD R1559TV
I'm no dummy, I know how to properly install axle bearings. These are junk, bearing has failed in under 500 miles for a Ford 8.8 axle. I was skeptical upon installation because the bearing was not very tight to the shaft and behold the bearing is very noisy. UPDATE: Replaced the culprit bearing and the noise has disappeared and has no play when wiggling the tire. Triple checked the axle bearing surface for issues and there are none, completely smooth and mic'd 100% even. I don't know what is going on with this supplier for these bearings, but others have also had issues with them. Buy these somewhere else. I replaced this with the Timken box, which is the same bearing, but purchased from Summit. Avoid this supplier and all the hassle, purchase something else. ... show more

  • Save your money folks.
Style: Various 2.530" OD R1559TV
I regularly buy my auto parts from amazon. Never been disappointed until I purchased these. They lasted MAYBE 75 miles. When taking the axel out one of the bearings came out in pieces. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Still can’t figure out who to contact to return this. As it was crucial to replace them had to purchase at a parts store. ... show more

  • Just The Ticket For My 21 Year Old Chevrolet Silverado Rear End Rebuild!
Style: GM C10 2.800" OD
I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado that has a little over 400,000 miles on it and the rear end had started making some bad failing bearing noises. I decided that i needed to have it rebuilt and called the local Chevrolet Dealership to get a quote on having it rebuilt. They quoted me $2400.00 minimum, they said depending on what they found so i decided i would attempt it myself because i could buy all new bearings, carrier group, ring and pinion, seals, gear lube and all the tools i needed to do it for less than $2400.00 and that's what i did. These bearings seem to be made of high quality materials and they were easy to install, hopefully they last as long as my original bearings did that were still ok, i just figured it made sense to replace them while i was rebuilding the rest of my truck's rear end. ... show more

  • BAD QUALITY BEARINGS FOR 06 MUSTANG GT
Style: Various 2.530" OD R1559TV
So I bought these these Yukon (item #1559) Axle Bearing and Seal Kit for 2006 Mustang GT back in October 2019. My 06 Mustang GT rear Axle started to make noise last month Feb 2020. So I removed the rear wheels and found out excessive up and down play in the rear axle. Everything was pointing to the axle bearing, guess what when I removed the bearings from the axle on the passenger side, the bearing started to fall apart, I attached the images so people stop buying these bearings. DO NOT BUY THESE BEARINGS! You will money your money and time. ... show more

  • Quality American Made Bearing
Style: Various 2.530" OD R1559TV
High quality, American made Koyo brand bearing and Yukon branded seal. Torrington has been owned by Koyo since 2009 when they were purchased from the Timken company who previously acquired Torrington in 2003. The Torrington name was dropped in 2013. The seal looks to be high quality. No different than Timken or National branded seals for the same application. This is a good combo. ... show more

  • The bearings themselves fit just fine and appear to be made well and in the ...
Style: Ford Dodge 2.985" OD Axle Brg & Seal
Labeled to fit an 06 Ford F150, 4x4, 5.4L, with 9.75" rear end. The bearings themselves fit just fine and appear to be made well and in the USA. There are actually 13 rollers as pictured which is different than the OEM bearing I pulled from my truck. The OEM bearing had 10 rollers with a guide creating more separation between the rollers. Not sure if one is really better than the other, I'm not an expert in that regard. Most of the auto parts stores I looked at also carried the bearing with 13 rollers. The oil seals that are packaged with the bearings are not intended to be used on my particular truck. I noticed that the OEM seals on my truck had a lip that was the same circumference as my axle housing. This really confused me at first because the Yukon seal had no such lip. You can see what I mean if you look at the Amazon provided photo close enough. I thought I had made a mistake and that my bearings had been "pressed" on. I went to the auto parts store to look at the oil seal specified for my model of truck and they were identical to the OEM I pulled from my truck. I decided to go with the National Brand from the auto parts store and they were an exact fit and type. So the Yukon oil seals were worthless to me. ... show more
