I purchased these snowshoes to hike through woodland terrain covered in deep snow, which is common in upstate NY. As an avid hunter and fisherman, I found that these were useful to me not only to just my 260 pound body, but also with 50 pounds of gear, clothing, ammunition, etc. I would recommend these shoes to anyone that is serious about getting out into the deep snow, whether you are a casual day hiker, or a seasoned woodsman, these shoes worked great!

Bought these to use for a trip to Jackson Hole WY. Had perfect snowfall the day before, and used these shoes for the first time. They were pretty easy to get on - the 4 star because the heel strap is a bit of a struggle to buckle in - I wore my Sorel snow boots, which are quite hefty, and had no issue with them fitting into the straps over the top of the boot. LOVE the color of these :) I bought the 'package' so came with hiking poles - they worked very well, were easy to extend, etc. I already had hiking poles, but these worked well, also - as well as being aesthetically pleasing because they matched the shoes ;) Overall, a great buy for me! I've used them 2x following this trip - once in powder snow that was ~4 ft deep. No problems, other than having to work harder to get my feet up and out of the snow! No problems with the shoes so far.

Great snowshoes. Easy to put on and adjust without instructions. Somewhat foolproof. However, skip the poles in this bundle..the poles are so cheaply made (my husband was very frustrated with them on our snowy hike today). The plastic cracked on first use, and it seemed they segments don't stay tightened...so he constantly had to readjust during our trek. The piece of paper to register the product gave a URL...somewhat a questionable warranty...the fo didn't ask for any ID or serial number....

I’m really happy with this snowshoe kit. It’s a perfect set for what I need. The bag it comes with is pretty cheap, so I invested with a better backpack version off of Amazon. They’re not narrow snowshoes, so sometimes they rub together when you step. This caused some slight bending of the material. This is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, good purchase for the price. I’ve used them about 7 times now without issue. I really like the click buckle system. Makes it so easy for the on and off.

I ordered the snow shoe's on February 9th and received them on the February 13th, extremely happy with the fast shipping. I was so happy to get them, I put them on right away and walked around the nearby field with different amounts of snow. I was surprised to find out how easy it was to walk in them. I'm very happy with these snow shoe's and now can plan my winter camping trip.

Purchased these shoes for a winter trip to the bear tooth mountains. First time using a shoe like this, my old ones are raw hide laced. These shoes worked so good on steep terrain that my old shoes are to become wall hangers!
