In the end I love these little batteries. They charge without a dock, just easily and separately through a USB-C cord. Better yet, they give you the amount of charge left. My only complaint is that they don't last as long as batteries or other rechargeable packs. My xbox had been in storage for awhile but with some new games and these batteries to test is was time to set it up. Putting these in the controller are a breeze and are all in one battery and cover. It started with about 75% charge and no extra setup or anything I just turned it on and away we went. I was at about 14 hrs of playtime and the controller was still at 40+%. Now these down count down gradually as much as in chunks but they last quite awhile and charge quick. The display on the back only shows the life if you press the little button so not constantly draining. Size-wise they look big when unattached, but they really don't get in the way and it's not as deep off the back as it seems. The only weird thing is the battery has its own usb port so there are 2 charging ports right next to each other. Still, I've got even more playtime on the full charge and there was no issue playing while charging. And it comes with a (short) cord to go along with the 2 pack of batteries so at this price it's way better than a play and charge kit from xbox price-wise ... show more

Was tired of constantly buying batteries for my Xbox Controller for use on my PC. These fit the bill perfectly. I get around maybe 20 hours of playtime with them, and when one dies, I can just swap it out for nearly endless gameplay. I've used these for two weeks with the Xbox controllers I've got for my PC. On the downside, after they reach about 40%, they instantly die. That's not an accurate representation of the amount of charge left, and I've died in boss battles twice because of it. Now I know not to trust them below that number. On the bright side, these things only take about an hour, maybe an hour and a half to two if you're actively using them while charging, to get back to full. Afterward, I get about 8–15 hours of play time between charges, and that's being conservative. I'm probably getting more, but I can't always sit for that long. Being an adult requires me to step away from the game often, and I do leave the controller on for a little bit while I do so. Overall, they feel a little heavy and clunky, but they're in a spot where you won't notice them because of the placement of your fingers. Personally, I like my controllers with some weight. These are a great value for what they are. Just remind yourself that 40% is actually 0%. Adjust accordingly. It's nice not having to guess when I'll need to swap batteries. ⚖️ I was concerned about added weight, but honestly, I don't notice any difference when playing.
