My son got a new Nintendo Switch Lite for his birthday, so I promptly decided to get a new case to protect this investment. I chose the blue color and it’s a nice dark navy color that complements the blue Switch we got. This case comes with a couple of interesting goodies, some useful and some not so much. I really like the clear cover. It’s made out of a flexible plastic/vinyl feeling material and fits the Switch very well. There’s a cool shoulder strap, which I think will come in handy when we need to take it somewhere, in addition to a wrist strap. There’s also a useful game cartridge case to hold a few games, a small keychain thing, and some small button covers. I don’t see myself using the keychain or covers, but I guess my kid might want to eventually. Lastly, there’s some screen protectors that I haven’t decided whether or not to use, but I am glad are included. The outside of the case is a nice firm material reminiscent of the branded Nintendo case I’ve purchased for a regular sized Switch. The inside has a similar felted material. Overall I’m very happy with the build quality, but I feel like there’s slight elements that make you realize it’s not the branded case. It’s hard to put my finger on exactly what; maybe the stitching of the netted pocket inside is ever so slightly off or the felt could be slightly thicker. The zipper pulls look substantial, but almost a little too thick looking so that they look a little cheap. Taken as a whole, I don’t think I would necessarily hesitate to get this again, but if the official Nintendo case were only a few dollars more and had a design or something on it I would probably spend the extra money. But if the cost difference were significant, this is a perfectly good alternative and the extras make it very attractive. ... show more
