Replaced the daytime running lights on my 2004 GMC Yukon Denali XL with this product. The color temperature is a tiny bit less orange-ish (was more blue-ish) than the tungsten bulb and the LED is also brighter than the tungsten bulb, so I replaced both right and left bulbs with the new ones and it looks great, and is brighter than before. The one bad thing: the base on these bulbs was too large to fit all the way down into the sockets in my car. I measured the width of the base of the new LED bulb; which is 16.98 mm. The original tungsten bulbs that were in my car had a bulb base width of 15.85 mm, so I used my Dremel tool to grind off the extra 1.13 mm. This was accomplished by removing about 0.57 mm from each side of the bulb base. Grinding off the extra plastic was rather easy, but it was not just a simple quick bulb swap. For me, it was much easier to do the Dremel operation than to return the bulbs. ... show more

Bulbs are bright, easy to install (excellent online videos are available), and at this price I have inexpensive spares that I may never use. As stated, they did not work in the turn signal flashers on my particular vehicle because of the fast cycling issue, which is caused by the vehicle relay and is no flaw with the bulbs themselves. At some point I might pursue a relay upgrade to permit use of these bulbs for the turn signals as well. I did note with interest that the conventional bulb (front running light) that I was replacing was not actually burned out. It was not making contact because of heat damage to the contacts on the bulb base and in the bulb socket. After seeing this, I replaced both front running lights and both backup lights to avoid future heat damage. If you are upgrading the Chevy running lights, you will want at least two bulbs anyway, or else operate with the remaining original running light weak and yellow, and the new one white and seemingly twice as bright. Plus, the much brighter light is very welcome in the backup lights on dark rainy nights. I would have been smarter to have upgraded these bulbs long ago. Highly recommended! ... show more
