We bought these after buying several hand made artisan soaps from another seller. After the first bar left a colored residue on our shower enclosure, we bought several for all of the showers/tubs our family uses. They're phenomenal at keeping a wet, slippery bar in place, drain incredibly well, and are so very easy to clean. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! As I discovered late one night as I was in a drunken stupor, they also work incredibly well if you want to prepare two or three chicken nuggets in your oven. Just place the dish between the nuggets and a foil-lined baking sheet, and the fat and grease drains off with ease, and the ribs in the dish allow the breading to crisp to perfection without needing to flip the nuggies halfway through the cooking process. I bought four types and this was the best. The design is modern, there is drainage, the size is perfect. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that there is not the option to choose colors, you have to order the assorted. They are all nice, but I may have preferred all white.

I haven't used any of them yet. I hope they don'tslide around after getting wet. I wanted these for my dish soap bar, shampoo and conditioner bars, body wash bar, and hand soap bars. I thought these will probably be easy to clean. They are not plastic or glass, so I don't need to worry about them breaking. Unfortunately, they do come wrapped in plastic, and then each individually wrapped in plastic. I think they will do the job! ... show more

Looks great on the sink and tub. I actually turn the gray one upside down to catch drips coming from the water dispenser on my new Samsung fridge that did not come with a screen to catch the water. Perfect size and does not scratch the fridge.

The soap doesn't run down. It stays on top making the soap stay wet. It doesn't hold the soap all the time. It's like playing jenga with the soap so it can stay on.

    • Works very well in certain situations
This product concept is great, but the actual product doesn't quite meet expectations. This product IS working great for me where my sink edge already slopes downwards a little. Where the sink edge is flat it doesn't drain as well and objects placed on it, in my case a stainless steel scrubby, do not dry well. It also should have been made with slightly higher "ribs" to hold the soap or sponge or scrubber just a little higher up to allow for more airflow and drying. My soap HAS been drying out MUCH better than when I used a soap dish with a drainage catcher. And my kids always forgot to dump the drainage catcher so it is working great for them. In a good quality soap dish, the liquid would get caught under the soap "rack" in the drainage catcher and then periodically you have to dump that sticky morass of liquid and soap. Although it kept my soap above the liquid, it wasn't always as dry as you might expect, and I believe that humidity generated locally in the captured drainage liquid was responsible for this. This new product keeps my soap on my sloped-edged sinks much dryer as most liquid just drains away! So this new product IS an improvement over my old soap dish - no question there, but I will still be looking for an even better version of this product in the future. So close to perfect, but not quite there. If you have problems with regular soap dishes you won't regret changing to this product, but I couldn't give it the four or five stars because it doesn't work quite as well as it should and could if they had just made that one small adjustment in design. ... show more
