I thought my son would love this as he LOVES all of his other Yookidoo bath toys…. but this one actually scared him. It is kinda wild and “a lot” I suppose. The Yookiddo Duck Bath Toy hasn't held my son's attention as well as I hoped. He just turned 5, so maybe it would appeal more to younger kids. My son calls it a Potato Head duck, and has enjoyed playing firefighter and doctor with it. However, there aren't really a lot of different options, and it would be nice to have additional costumes. He also thinks the motor is a bit too loud, and it is louder than I expected. So, he usually prefers to turn it off, although he does like the spray feature. ... show more

So I have a love hate relationship with this duck. Love it because my kid actually doesn’t fight me to take a bath when I remind him that he can play with his duck in there. Hate because it’s a fight to pull him away from the duck come the end of bath time. My son is only two years old so he doesn’t care much for all the “mr potato head attachments” but boy does he love spraying this thing all over. He figured out that when you turn the jet one way or another the duck will go in different directions. He loves watching the duck go in circles. Overall my son LOVES this thing so if he loves it, I love it! And super easy to store! Thanks to the scooper it doesn’t leave a mess all over the bath floor! ... show more

Overall, this is a really cool bath toy! Sort of like a Mr Potato Head, but a duck version. The motor is pretty strong and the jet cannon actually sprays water. The only issue we had was the battery compartment didn't work on the first one we ordered, but Amazon made the return super easy, and the second duck is great. My brother also had trouble with the battery compartment getting water in it after it's first use. So I recommend just making sure you have that cap on securely. My son is 4 and LOVES this toy. I almost never write reviews, but I feel compelled to for this product. I've purchased dozens of bath toys for my 3 year old son. A lot of them say they swim on their own, squirt water, etc. They're almost all a disappointment, swimming poorly, barely squirting water, and he gets bored with them fairly quickly. This toy exceeds its promise – it jets water out of its hydrant, flies across the bath (or in circles, depending on how you point it), and is always new and novel. It's basically a Mr. Potato Head crossed with an electric water cannon. It is a mess – it really does launch water, so can shoot water out of the bath – but it's worth it. ... show more

Bought for my grandchildren when they come visit. They seem to love the toy The 2 yr olds don’t really change the outfits to play with it. But the 4 and 6 year olds do.
