    • My favorite rubbery / tacky overgrip
Color: Red
In humid weather when I sweat a bit, I prefer the blue Tourna Grip overgrip or a leather grip roughed up with sandpaper. However, when it's dry and/or cold out, I find that those get a bit slippery so I go for something rubbery. I've tried similar Prince, Wilson, Babolat, and Tourna overgrips, but these Yonex Super Grap overgrips are my favorites. They're rubbery with good traction without being outright sticky. The color of the grip doesn't bleed onto the player's hand like some others do. They are reasonably durable, and over time turn kind of cloth-like where the rubbery outer layer has worn through. This is a fairly thin, non-cushioning overgrip (which I like). A quick note on this pack: Finishing tape is included not as a roll, but as 30 pre-cut pieces bundled together with a rubber band. The finishing tape is a bit stiff, not as stretchy, and a little easier to break as others I've run across. So the finishing tape isn't the greatest, but it's perfectly serviceable. The overgrip tape itself is also pre-cut to length with an angled cut and adhesive strip on one end. The adhesive does leave some residue, but it can be cleaned off. I've not had any issues with the rest of the tape leaving any residue or being hard to remove from the grip. ... show more

    • Love the grip
I never used these when in florida simply because the humidity was too much to handle. As I have relocated to the northeast US they seem to do better with the drier climate here. Definitely a rival and cheaper alternative to wilson's, if you are a sweater, buy the tournatac XL. It will serve you better, and last you longer. These are slightly spongy with a solid enough tac for playing 1-3 times a week for 2 weeks before needing a change. ... show more
