I ordered this without reading to many reviews. It was inexpensive and the right size, so I ordered it. All the reviews complained that the piece was dented and damaged upon arrival. Looking at the box when it got to my house I was horrified. The box was nearly destroyed and the piece was sticking out the end of the box. Upon further inspection, it was perfect. No dents, no scratches no damage. I can only attribute this to the Amazon Drives care! Amazing! Installation was a breeze, it works quietly and well. If you mount this in front of a window, it also acts as an amazing blackout curtain, which is the intended lighting condition for a projector. The screen does not get in the way of your projector's video quality. It looks simple and low profile when it's recessed, and having remote control capability to unroll it is a plus. The screen is great and does it’s job but we did struggle a little getting it to work properly. The plastic at the bottom was pushed up into the casing that houses the screen and we couldn’t just pull it out or unscrew the sides and the remote wasn’t getting it out either. I had to wedge something it there and when I finally did come there were these white scuff marks along the sides of the screen. Despite the marks the screen does look great and works great, I would really just like the option to swap it out for another one but when trying to replace it I’m only met with the option to completely return it 🤷🏼♀️. ... show more

I did not want a screen in our small bedroom but I was talked into it! And I am glad I was. This was easy to install. My husband installed the ceiling anchors and we hung it up as close to the ceiling as we could. It came with some hardware, but my husband decided to use toggle bolts since it’s hanging and not lunged into the wall, which I believe is an option. it’s not going anywhere..it’s very stable! There are no wrinkles or bad spots on the screen. Love the picture quality, and love the little remote, the remote is small and does what it needs to do. We can adjust the height of the screen up and down to make it fit our projector, which is a nice feature. Very versatile for our purposes. ... show more

I bought the 100-inch screen size, and let me tell you, for the price it's an absolute amazing value!!! Once you're done putting it together, it's an amazing product. As far as putting it together, it does require some patience because it can get tedious. Especially installing the springs, which other reviews have stated is a bit of a pain. Once you get used to putting the springs in it becomes quicker. I suggest doing the edges first because those are the hardest. Then when you're done with those, install the other springs at different points of the frame. Overall it took me a couple of hours to put together. When done putting it together, you will need 2 people to put it up on the wall as it is a little heavy, probably around 12-15lbs and it's wide. I didn't use the included anchors, I got better ones at Home Depot. The picture quality is absolutely amazing. The pictures I provided doesn't do it justice. Picture quality is more heightened if you have a 4K projector along with a 4K Blu-ray player. I only have a 1080P projector and Blu-ray player, but quality is still amazing nonetheless. I've had this screen for a while now so I can properly review. Pros: It's a good quality screen. The front is great and really adds contrast & quality to the picture thanks to the back being a nice black. I love the motor feature. It's incredibly convenient for us when we want to have a different vibe in our theater room and retract the screen. Cons: It game dented. There was little to no protection on the corners so the metal was dented in at one spot. It didn't affect the actually screen operation and I didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning such a big item, but be aware there is a high chance yours will be too. I've seen other reviews say the same -Idk if it's because of the dent or not, but the left and right sides of the screen curl in a bit when extended down. It distorts the picture in a really distracting way. I've tried ironing it flat, pinning it back to the wall it's against, etc and it just doesn't go away. This seems to be hit and miss based on reviews but a product should not have a 50/50 working rate. Overall it's a good quality screen for the price. I just wish the quality control was more consistent regarding the dent and the curling. ... show more

The unit seemed decent upon arrival (this is my second motorized screen). Unfortunately, I didn’t extend the screen out until after it was already hung. There were several abrasions on the screen and one small hole. I requested a replacement unit from Amazon, which also meant I had to fully package up the old one and prepare it for ups. I sent the first unit back and received the replacement today. This one was in even worse shape. Several dents in housing, a few small abrasions, and the motor doesn’t stop when fully retracted…just makes a pretty great grinding noise. Amazon was good to work with and offered a refund without returning the unit….but doubt this will be operable for very long with the motor issue is has. Going to look for a higher quality screen. For what it’s worth, the remote feels a bit cheap, but decent overall, the screen housing is also nice (when not dented). The detachable power supply is a nice touch and makes mounting a bit easier as well. Also….it has a strong plastic/chemical smell. Not sure if that goes away over time or not Unit would be good if it arrived fully functional and not damaged.. ... show more
