Installed these on my 99 F250. There are a few things it would be nice to have clarification on for the novices among us. 1. The need to punch out the holes in the insulation for the locating tab and the electrical connections. 2. Use the pigtail provided with the mirrors if a pigtail is required, mine had already had aftermarket mirrors installed and while the pigtail looked identical, it didn't work properly. Installing the one provided fixed the issue. Also, there is a sizing collar in the new pigtail that will prevent you from connecting to the factory connector, it needs to be removed, at least for my truck. Some basic instructions would be helpful. Other than that, they fit great, look great, no vibration and worked as advertised. I would buy them again! ... show more

Pretty happy with these mirrors so far. Mine bolted right on and plugged into the factory pigtail on my 2003 f350 with no modification they didn't have the tab that needs to be cut off on them as some others have mentioned. All power functions work as they should, the lights work as they should, and defrost also seems to work(its not cold enough to tell yet). The only problem I encountered when installing them is the lower rear stud on both mirrors didn't want to seat all the way at first, but I cautiously tightened the nuts down and they eventually pulled in and both mirrors fit just like factory. My factory mirrors had a tiny bit of vibration over bumps , but mainly the passenger side mirror and these mirrors are fairly similar the driver side mirror doesn't vibrate at all, and the passenger side mirror does over bumps but its the same as the oem ford mirrors were probably because mine are on a 1 ton dually its hardly any at all and you can see just fine so its a non issue for me. We have a 2013 f350 at work with the same mirrors except they are factory ford mirrors and they are about the same. They really update the look of the truck, and you can see a lot more especially out of the convex lower mirrors which i really like. Overall a great buy. A pair of new ford mirrors will set you back $1000, so for the price these are great. I'll try to remember to do an update if anything changes. ... show more

I just got them yesterday, but I already really like them. Huge upgrade from those jelly bean shaped stock mirrors. For what it's worth, I didn't have to open the center hole with a Dremel. What I did have to do was remove the punch out from the foam gasket, and push the plastic centering cross through. The pictures should make that more clear. That's it. Then just install them normally. Criss cross as you tighten the mounting bolts. It'll pull that centering cross in correctly and the mirror will be nice and sturdy. For the price, the quality is pretty good! I've had some experience with really badly made aftermarket mirrors, and was a little reluctant to try these, but they're good. Obviously, at this price, they're not OEM quality. Parts that are metal on the Ford mirrors are plastic, but they look great and feel very solid. I agree with the review that suggested they may not last long if you want to fold them in often. They'll fold, but it takes some effort. I don't think I'll push my luck. But overall they're really great. So much better than the stock mirrors after 180,000 miles of abuse. I'm surprised how much better my old truck looks just from adding these. ... show more

I bought these last year and I've been trying to figure out how to get ahold of somebody to rectify the situation. I bought these mirrors, and at first they were great, and then I had to fold them in a couple times because where I had to park, and these mirrors do not hold up, they're cheap. The driver's side I had to fold in so I didn't get my mirrors knocked off from another vehicle, and ever since I folded it in it became extremely loose where I'll start driving it'll start to move. Like I said, i've been trying to get a hold of somebody but I don't know who to get a hold of it happened about a month or two right after I got them, and then I just lost the contact of who I should get a hold of. ... show more
