——————————————————————— 📝 NOTES: A few minor imperfections in weaving of straw parts on faces (can be corrected by tucking ends in) that probably wouldn’t affect durability, and a few thread ends to cut off, but on the whole, well-constructed & attractive design. The handles aren’t made of leather (they’re PU leather, as many things are nowadays), so they won’t be as rugged, but for this price point & carrying capacity, I think the bag is well-made, with the appropriate choice in materials, and should last you some years with normal use. Zipper is smooth (4.5 out of 5), and the zipper pull looks more elegant than the standard style pull, both for its gold color and short rod design. Canvas trim reenforces seams for greater strength under load. One inner pocket made with the name material as the lining, which is like a muslin in a synthetic material. If you prefer a laptop bag or soft briefcase that doesn’t look so “serious,” this is a nice option—it’s very pretty, and would pair beautifully with casual-nice outfits—it’d go with EVERYTHING, from separates with pants/skirts of any length/shorts, to dresses of any length. I just re-read the description and saw that this bag was marketed for use on vacations—yes…that too! 😊 It looks just like the product pics, so if you found this tote to be eye-catching (as I did), you won’t be disappointed! 👍 ... show more

I just love this tote. I wanted something summery to carrying everything I need to take into the office and this is just perfect. To me there is just nothing more like summer than a straw bag. The problem is they usually aren't a structured square design like this one, which is fine for most uses but I needed a definite tote so this is just perfect being a great combination of both. It's a nice size, it doesn't look too large but is really roomy and holds lots of stuff. I can fit everything I need from my laptop to my lunch with no problem. It's lined nicely, you can zip it closed and has several pockets to keep organized. It's a really great soft straw material and though I'm using it for business purposes it would be perfect for a day at the beach. I like the 3 stripes on the side and light colored binding around the edges it gives it a an attractive design pop. The straps are a perfect length and it's made well, everything is attached tight and there are no flaws in the construction or stitching. ... show more

This bag is surprisingly cute. It looks really elegant and holds a lot! It's not the sturdiest thing, like it will probably last for a few beach trips, but it doesn't *look* cheap.

Sand, sun and fun. This bag is so much more sturdy than others I have ordered. Love that it has zipper which lends to versatility. Can go from boat to beach to brunch with feeling of security. Being fully lined also makes it more functional. The size while considerably larger than a purse is still manageable. Like the stripe detail, cause it balances the boho material and feel with more classic style and design. Additionally, adds to the over quality which for the price point is good.
