They come in 3 different sizes (1 large, 2 medium, 1 small) and the assembly was a little scary at first but it actually ended up being very easy! Hilariously, and honestly, this is the first time the attachments (screws, metal brackets, ect) were higher quality than the product itself. The shelves are fine. They are partical board with a wrapped finish. You won't be able to tell unless you inspect them. But they are cheaply made. That's OK, I promise, if you're just using these as a decorative piece. This set includes ample screws, drywall anchors, and even contains high quality mounting brackets and a mini screwdrive and level (level is not something you want to keep unless you don't own one). The only tools you'll need is (preferably) a hammer for anchors, drill bits for pilot holes, and a drill. Everything else is included and of honestly good quality. If you're using this as some heavy duty storage... well don't. If you're using this to put your signs up on the wall, then sure. It's worth it. ... show more

I'll start this off by saying these aren't super great shelves. They're okay. I've installed mine in the bathroom above the toilet, and they work just fine. They hold everything I put on them. I tossed out the included screws though and used my own. That's an important step, because the included screws are indeed garbage. There's a number of negative reviews on here, and wary consumer, let me tell you. Those negative reviews are born from poor installation and user error. The thing is, the boards are pretty flimsy. However, the brackets are made in a way that they can support them just fine. The problem I see people having is with the way they attach the boards to the brackets. Basically, instead of letting the bracket cradle the board, they're installing the board on the underside, and letting the cheap included screws hold them. It's not designed to be put together like that. The wood isn't strong enough, and the screws aren't long enough. So it'll just come apart when you put weight on it. The bracket needs to actually support the board. I've included a picture showing proper installation. Doesn't matter how you orientate it, as long as the bracket is supporting the board from the underside. Some of this confusion comes from the manual, with people expressing that they installed it the way the manual showed! But no... no. I mean kind of. The manual isn't great. People get confused because they're looking at the page with the parts listed, and thinking that's the instruction on how to assemble it. The actual assembly images though show the proper way to set the board on the bracket. Basically, it comes down to this. It's a decent cheap shelf. The problems people are having, are self inflicted, and not strictly a failing of the shelf itself. It is a cheap product, and you do need to realize that. I bought 4 sets, trying to make more room in my kids room. I am very happy with the product. Easy to assemble, I did myself with the help of one kid. They feel pretty sturdy and look beautiful and my kids loved them.

I would say that my only issue with this is the fact that the shelves aren't sealed. Mine were pretty rough and has to sand them some so it didn't have uneven parts. Overall these are good shelves, I used this for funko pops.
