I’d been looking for shelves that would be able to fit & display my Husband’s anime figurines & these were perfect! The bars can be screwed on directly to the wood w/the screw bar given, but to put into your wall, you definitely need a power drill. Love the work, the sturdiness, and the fact that it was not hard to make although I did not make it. My boyfriend did, and I helped him, so definitely need another person to help you make the best, but it isn’t hard and doesn’t need any power tools or anything just toolbox, but they give you an Allen key in a small wrench which works if you don’t have a toolbox, but I would recommend having a screwdriver to make sure everything is fully sturdy and safe. Did it come with a few extra nails and things that my boyfriend and I used but he did not use the directions because he hasn’t stuff like this before as in construction so not sure if I should’ve had them put them on or if those were just in case it’s needed for extra in case you lose anything ... show more

These shelves are awesome. Wood is attractive and lightweight and once brackets are attached and they are hung, the shelves will support even the heaviest items. Well-packaged, all hardware included, even a tiny "level" in case you don't have one. HINT: You will be incredibly frustrated if you try to attach hardware and hang using the tiny Phillip's head screwdriver that is included, which is only reason I gave it only Tfour stars. Use you own full-size screwdriver. You'll be glad you did. These aren't the nicest shelves ever to come down the pike, but they are more than worth the price. Very chic. I bought a set of two "floating" shelves from brick & mortar store; even with adhesive strips on the back and nails underneath, they fell off the wall. Waste of money. These will never fall off! If you’re looking for a heavy duty shelf to hold a lot of weight these are NOT for you. If you want to hold a couple lightweight decorative items, they’re perfect! They even included a mini screwdriver which was nice. You DO need a drill to put in the drywall anchors but it was very easy. Would buy again. ... show more

Great product for the money. The shelves are very light weight and not real wood but look nice! They do not come pre drilled like others I’ve bought so make sure you have a drill, a screwdriver and a level handy and not still in your moving boxes lol good product I’m happy with it

The shelves come with all you need to install - although we used a drill to move along the process. The shelves don't look cheap at all - sturdy enough for small objects, I wouldn't overload with heavy books or knick knacks. I would purchase again.
