I use this as an ice bucket, indoors and out. Is it just me, or are other ice buckets way too small and completely unable to keep ice long enough? Not this one! It's perfect! It's bigger than your average ice bucket, but not so big as to look too oversized for a bar or countertop. And the ice lasts and lasts, even on our outdoor bar in the hot summer. I love this super durable easy to use and versatile bucket. Nice thick see thru lid with a great seal. Rubber rim base keeps it securely in place. It can be used as an ice bucket, or cooler. My bucket gets lots of use, I’ve used it are at winery’s, picnics, park concerts, pool side, boating, and the backyard. It will keep stuff cold for days. I have the orange color and love it. Considering the many years of use I will get from this bucket I consider it a good buy. I see this product has some negative comments; ice melts too fast and the lid sweats is NOT something I’ve experienced and these things get a lot of use both with the lid on at the pool or lid off at the winery. ... show more

I am not positive that I NEED this but it is UBER cool and I am cooler just for owning it. I filled it full of ice and (for some unknown reason) kept it in my car-in Nashville in the warm early October period. I filled it on Wed night and still had ice (although most was melted but there was still plenty of ice to fill a cup) on Friday morning. Product was accurately described by seller. This was, as with all the Yeti products I’ve purchased in the past, well made. The lid is thick and sturdy. The body of the ice bucket very nice as well. It’s being given as a gift so I’ve not tried it out and therefore cannot comment on ice retention.
