I needed a step platform to do some of my physical therapy. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but I also didn't want anything cheap. This was the least expensive step platform I found, I wanted pink and black, so this was perfect! It is not cheap at all. I can put my full weight (145) on it and it doesn't give at all. I'm short (5' 2" tall) and needed an extra boost to get into our new bed. So this exercise step does just the trick! I will say it was VERY DIFFICULT to get the pieces to snap together. In fact, my husband had to finally put some muscle into it so it would click together, but once it did, it's solid. I love that it came with little risers that was so easy to put on. I use it everyday and it is very sturdy. Love that it is not super long because I have small feet and this size is so much more comfortable for me to use and I am able to maneuver on without tripping. I am giving this 3 stars because of quality and strength. The legs are never going to go on without a fight and a rubber mallet. I’m tempted to just throw them away. The center “gives” when you step on it. I am avoiding the center. I am giving this 5 stars because I like it and NEED it anyway. I need a low, no legs, platform to step on / off to build some cardio and strengthen the muscles that support the bad knees. I am avoiding stepping on the center. I step near the ends as they seem strong and steady. I am Also giving it 5 stars because I needed something small that won’t take up space. I started on a low count and it immediately got my heart pumping. Low, flat — step up/down, front facing, left side, right side. Again, I really like it. I like the 18-inch length, it is light, easy to move out of the way and it can serve as a low footstool. So, it can be versatile.
