I needed a lightweight cardigan for church, because they like to keep it icy cold in there. It's 100 outside, so I can appreciate that. However, wearing heavy clothing is not ideal when the weather is so hot. I wanted something that wouldn't weigh much, that I could keep in the car folded up potentially, and that would be enough to keep me feeling warm inside of church. This is a very pretty cardigan and, despite the listing saying cropped, I don't consider this cropped. The lower hem goes to my hips, which is a perfect length for me. The front has a kind of scooped edge, so maybe that's where the 'crop' is? Anyway, it looks a little fancier because of that curved edge on each side of the front panels. The buttons are white, so they're discreet. The fabric is very soft. This is a warm cardigan, but not super heavy. It's no good for a snowstorm, but it's perfect for church and for my office when my coworkers crank the A/C to morgue. I got a size medium to have plenty of space to feel comfy in it. The fabric has some stretch to it, which is nice. I'm usually a small, but this doesn't look sloppy on me, because of the cut and style. And it's warm and comfy. The white is very white. Not cream or anything, but also not stark. It's a nice cardi, exactly what I needed, and I like the price. I'll definitely be keeping this in the car for dealing with cold interiors. I did wash on a delicate cycle on cold, and I tumble dried on very low. It didn't shed, discolor, or shrink, and it still soft. I'm allergic to fragrance, so I don't use fabric softener. ... show more

I usually take a medium but I could have easily got this in large and it would have been fine. It fits fine over a t-shirt but a thicker shirt it would be snug. For ladies who are older as well as women of child bearing years who like tops to cover the tummy area, this will NOT be it for you. Because of the design, which is curved on the bottom as you can see in the pic. It hits me at my belly button. I do wish it went lower over my tummy area. The sleeves are a bit long on me, but my arms are kind of short and I run into this a lot. No problem really because I can just roll up the sleeves. I did notice the cardigan hiked up on me while brushing my hair. I washed and dried on normal cycle and took out early from the dryer. No shrinkage experience and washed up nice. I really like the color of this cardigan. It’s Apricot, and looks like a creamy light beige. It should look nice with most of my t-shirts. The style is super cute and feminine which I appreciate. The cardigan is also comfortable and soft. I will keep this in the car for the trips inside stores and church as it gets cold here in the South inside most places. Got this for the wife as she is a big fan of shrugs and cardigans as it gets chilly in her office at work. Pros: Item arrived well packaged with no obvious stains or tears. She ordered the blue/gray color in her normal size. My wife describes the color as more of a deep lavender with a hint of gray, and she feels this item runs true to size. It was machine washed in a laundry bag and hung to dry with no shrinkage. While she wasn't "sold" on the material at the start, it did laundry well and was much softer and not as stiff after washing. Cons: It is described as "cropped" and it is shorter than my wife typically wears. She is 5 ft, 2 inches, and this hangs to just above her hips. For that reason, she prefers to wear it open with something under it. That being said, as it is noted in the description, she did not deduct a star. Also, understand that this is not a sweater you'd want to wear in the winter months for warmth - it is definitely a sweater more for comfort in air conditioning or on a chilly night. I like this cardigan! To start off with a note about the color, the "blue gray" looks kind of purplish in the product photos, but it doesn't look like that in real life. It looks like more of an actual blue-gray color in person; there is not even a faint hint of purple hues present. I would prefer the look from the photos, but it still looks attractive in real life as long as you know what to expect. Color aside, the circle shape makes it so feminine and flattering. Additionally, it has sort of scalloped edges which give it a really cute appearance. I prefer it open personally, but it does have buttons and it still fits great on me when buttoned up. Another cute detail is that the buttons seem to match the color of the fabric almost exactly! The sleeve length as well as overall length are both good for me and I'm 6' tall. The stitching is really nice and also very cute. It is slightly see-through since there are tiny holes throughout, but the holes aren't big enough to give anything away, just a hint of whatever color you're wearing underneath. ... show more

Before purchasing this very light sweater, be mindful that it's crop style. As a full figure gal, I do prefer my tops at the very least, to meet my waist. This does not. It is also too small. I'm not even sure if a 3x was available, that it would suffice. Overall, it's pretty and well designed. The cardigan was a hit with my wife with the exception of one item, which is why I only gave it 4 stars. The cardigan is well made. Ordered a Large and it fit as most items do at this size, except for the sleeves. They were too long that they just passed her knuckles on her hands, and this is not common. Don't know if this is common with this brand, so beware. Other than the sleeve length, everything was fine and so, only took off one star for the sleeve length. ... show more
