Not sure what else to say except this is a very sturdy tension rod. I am impressed. We needed to convert our playroom to a guest room temporarily and curtains it was. This rod is really sturdy. The idea is cool, but when we put it together to fit our shower the rod bowed and was not stable enough to hold a shower curtain or stay up in the shower. We tried adding another segment, but then it was way too long. If your shower is on the edge of the segmented rod you are using it can put you in a spot where the rod won't stay up. I would suggest with the description to indicate what width shower the rod combination can support. We were about a half inch too long for one and a half inch too short for the shorter rod combination. The concept is great, but we had to go to an old school model. much more difficult to assemble and install compared to other tension rods, but i liked that this one maintain the thickness of the rod from beginning to end. Others are typically "pullout", meaning that there is a thinner rod inside a thicker one. zero regrets about buying

The reason about this product was because it claimed to be nonslip. After I got it installed, I was so happy and it looked great and that night with the first shower, it slipped and fell. I thought it was my fault, but I had someone else put it on to make sure that I was doing it correctly and it has fallen three more times.
