Upon first look it can be easy to overlook missing hardware such as necessary odd length screws. I was playing on a wobbly X stand for too long. Love this unit. Just make sure that you attach the anti fall brackets on the feet FIRST if you’re not putting the unit against a wall.

I DIY everything. I built my own desk, bed, a chicken coop, etc. Once I saw some reviews for this stand being "just some overpriced pieces of wood", I looked into building my own piano stand for my Yamaha P125. After some research, I learned I'd have to have the mounting holes line up perfectly for the piano itself, and I also wanted to use the LP1B 3-Pedal Unit which would also need some perfectly placed nuts for the screws it comes with for it to sit properly. Considering all the hardware that would be needed and trips to the store involved, I ended up just ordering this to save myself some trouble and get to playing the piano. This unit is much more than just 3 pieces of wood, the side pieces have a nice roll to the edge you'd be hard pressed to do yourself, the finish is a black melamine that goes well with the piano. Once assembled it's solid, and looks very sharp with the LP1B 3-Pedal Unit mounted. Considering all the brackets, machine screws, and nice threaded inserts that are already done for you on this unit, I could see you easily spending >$100 on parts and time to attempt to make something this nice for the piano yourself. ... show more

Yamaha always makes good products, so it is no surprise this stand is VERY heavyduty, sturdy, will not tip, doesn't show dust easily even though it's dark brown. Would definitely buy again.

    • THIS WILL FIT P-115 KEYBOARDS!

After not being able to find an L85 to fit my P115, I took a chance with this stand. Many have said that this L125 does NOT fit P115, and I’m sharing that that is NOT TRUE. The L125 fits perfectly fine on my P-115, even though I had to omit two screws and use a bit of force connecting it to my keyboard. If you need a stand for your P-115 and cannot find an L85, get this. It looks and works great, just put the two front screws in the keyboard and not the rear ones, as it will not reach. :) ... show more

I bought a Z-type stand (also good) but upgraded to this setup when the need for good pedals became necessary. I was not disappointed! I wish that I had bought the bundle from the start.
