I paid a little more than I wanted to for this (and now I see the price has dropped a bit, oh well), but it's pretty much worth it. It's the only one I could find that checked all the boxes: length, depth, style, drawer, TWO shelves, and no visible assembly holes needing covering with annoying little wooden plugs. The reviews helped quite a lot, and reading a couple that mentioned the no visible assembly holes is what sold me on it. Arrived well packaged with no damage, and there was an extra piece of each bit of hardware (except for the drawer handles, of course). That is SO helpful, especially when you live in an old house with floor grates. It took forever to assemble, but the directions were excellent even though they were images, not words. You just need a Phillips screwdriver for most of it, and a regular one for a few bits. Don't use power tools, but a ratcheting screwdriver really helps cut down on hand fatigue. I'm using this as a cootie table just inside the kitchen door, where there is very limited space. We put our keys, masks, groceries, purchases, etc on it to be cleaned later or sit for a few days until they're covid-free. I'm waiting on delivery of these shelf liners that I'll trim to fit the table so that it can be wiped clean with alcohol without damaging the finish: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WHLCXJ6/ The finish is true white satin, not glossy or matte. The drawer knobs are great quality, and the drawer works well, though as others have mentioned you do have to put your thumbs against the table when pulling the drawer open.     • Beautiful, Affordable Console Table. Instructions Not Good. Took 1 Hr and 45 Mins to Build

The finished product looks great. The price was great too. With a family member's help, it took us 1 Hour and 45 Minutes to finish building the product. The only con is the instructions. The 2nd and 3rd Step (page 5/16 and 6/16) it shows a screw is supposed to go into a small hole at the top of the drawer metal extension piece. It is not possible for all 3 screws to fit into the holes of the metal piece. We solved this problem by placing the screw into the oval hole below the top hole of the metal piece. The 3 holes aligned after placing the screw into the oval hole below the top hole. Finished product took 1 hour and 45 minutes to build. Without that hiccup, it probably would have taken us about 1 hour and 30 minutes to build. ... show more

Love this table. I was looking for something that I could put some of my massive book collection on, but also something that wasn’t bulky like a regular bookshelf for behind my loveseat. This is perfect. It shipped quickly, And all of the correct amount of supplies were there(with an extra of each screw just in case). As far as assembly goes, the directions are very straight forward, everything was labeled, and it went smoothly. It did take me a couple of hours by myself. Would have probably had it done it faster with a friend. It’s a Very sturdy Nice piece. There was a piece that the paint was a little messed up, but It was a piece that you don’t even see, that’s on the bottom. Where to begin.. I would've returned this if it wasn't such a hassle. Yes, it's my fault because I saw most of these flaws before starting to assemble. But, again, too much of a hassle to return and I really needed a stand for a room that needed to be set up within a certain time frame. 1) Probably about 15 scratches. I posted just a few. The longest one is right on top (pictured). 2) Gouge on the bottom (pictured) that is too noticeable that I hope I can just cover with decor. 3) Some kind of scratch or gouge that was covered up with what looks like white out, not even paint (pictured). 4) Very time consuming assembly. No words, just pictures. I'm definitely a follow every direction to the last detail person, so once I was able to decipher the photos, some very difficult to understand, I was able to move onto the next step. The steps do eventually lead to a stand that would be nice and solid were it not for the, I think, preventable, flaws. All in all, it is sturdy and everything lined up well since I really did follow the hard instructions. The drawer stuck a little but I kept pulling it in and out until it was loose enough to slide well. Worth the money? Not really. Serves its purpose as long as you don't care about the glaring imperfections. Hope this helps! ... show more

    • BE VERY CAREFUL IN PUTTING THIS ITEM TOGETHER

The metal pegs that are used in the locking system were TOO small for the hole. I highly suggest to screw these in by hand. I used a battery operated drill and because the holes were too small the fast turning easily ruined so many holes and bulked the area around the hole or chipped away the painted area from the chip board. This was the most frustrating part of putting this console table together. I also had to ask for a replacement part for the drawer because one piece was missing in the box because they put in 2 of the wrong boards. Such a hassle but this kind of table cannot be found anywhere else and in the finished stage it is nice. ... show more

Fast shipping was the only positive. Negatives were the color/ finish did not match what was pictured or selected. Returning the item was a nightmare and getting a credit for the returned item took way to long, over 2 weeks. I really love this table. I bought it for my entry hall. The lower shelf is perfect for all of my Covid supplies and room for books. The drawer holds masks. I happen to have a piece of plexiglass that fit perfectly for the top - so that should keep it in good shape. Assembly wasn’t easy but not impossible. The trickiest part was the drawer.
