We love this little thermometer, but after just 1 season the thermometer detached from the numbers part, the string detached, and the inside got very foggy. Not bad, considering the price, but it’s worth noting that it has a shirt lifespan.

The size is ideal, and the thermometer is easy to ready. It is within 1 or 2 degrees of our digital thermometer that is factory installed, so I say it pretty accurate. We got this as a secondary monitor because our thermocouple had failed on our hot tub once before and it was heating up 10-12 degrees warmer then readings and settings. ... show more

This thermometer arrived quickly and the shipping box was intact with no damage. I bought this to replace a a thermometer that was purchased last year that had a solar panel with an electronic display to see the pool temp. After a year that thermometer no longer displayed the temp. This thermometer is super easy to use. I just tossed it into the pool and it had an accurate temperature reading in just a few minutes. When my 3 year old grandson came for a visit, he loved the little alligator swimming around the pool. I did have to tie it the side to be able to retrieve it to check the temp which is not a big deal to me. Happy with the purchase. ... show more
