These one the wear around the house challenge VS Grundens and Huck. Fit was as expected for all 3, but these provided the most support and comfortable footbed for me. They got the least hot/sweaty, i believe due to both the openness of the ankle and interior lining. Durability seems very good, or at least the resilience to being scuffed, scratched, or gouged. Went for a 5 miles trail hike through loose cobbles with them and theres nearly no visible damage. The outer material of the HUKs were much softer and doubt they would have faired as well. My only complaint, is they have developed a strong rubber smell... I dont know if thats common with this type of boot or not, but its definitely noticeable. In summary, dont sleep on the original popular deck boot, for me it still reigns supreme. ... show more

These shoes are really comfortable and easy to get on and off for quickly getting out of the house. They are waterproof which is great but they will get hot in the summer (to be expected). My only issue with them is that the sole of the shoe keeps coming off. Customer service was awesome and helped with the warranty. Added these into my collection along with the all white shrimpin boots. Couldnt have everyone jealous of me walking around the campground in those bad boys so I ordered these to have on hand. They are super comforable being the xtratuf brand. The ankle material is very soft and does not rub if you wear a shorter sock. I walked around in these all weekend with no issues and dry feet.
