  • Great Cables At a Good Price
Length: 8 PIN VGA
The media could not be loaded. Awesome cables at a good price. Installed these along with the 24 pin XPG PSU cables and they go well together. I used the controller that is supplied with the 24 pin PSU cables since my motherboard doesn't have any RGB headers (I have a older Gigabyte motherboard from before RGB was popular). They work great! The colors are nice and bright too. In my picture and video I uploaded, they don't look as bright as they usually are due to the sunlight coming from the window nearby but they are indeed nice and bright. My only complaint about these (and the 24 pin PSU cables) is that they are very stiff which doesn't allow much flexibility where you install them. It's nice how the 24 pin PSU cables and the 8 pin VGA cables are synced together though! There's a few different modes and speed options with the controller but the one in the video is my favorite. They also seem to be made of great quality. I am overall very happy with them. ... show more

  • Dim, bulky, stiff. Horrible product
Length: 8 PIN VGA
Preface: I don't take my time to write reviews all that often, so please understand that what I am saying below is completely objective and based on a real product comparison I made to another product (Lian Li Strimer). I'm upset not only that this is such a sad excuse for a product but also because of the amount of time I spent TRYING to make this work and it simply would not. I have no relation to Lian Li or anything, I just bought their set after installing this and seeing how terrible it was and I would like to save others from this hellfire. If you like to shake your soda or beer can before opening it to make sure all of the carbonation is out, you will love this product. Just like drinking a warm and flat beer, this cable solution provides happiness only to a select few. I bought it because it was a little cheaper at the time but what a terrible mistake that was. First of all, as you can see in the comparison photos, the XPG is EXTREMELY dim. Mind you this is at maximum brightness using its included controller and the same thing happens when connected to a razer chroma ARGB hub. Oh, and good luck getting all of the LEDs to work at once. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. To be fair, this could be the Chroma Software I am using but the point remains that Lian Li doesn't have this problem. The ARGB 3 pin 5v connections are horribly designed and the pins are flimsy yet the connector housing is bulky and can't plug into any hubs or controllers without being shaved down (including its own included controller lol). They are extremely stiff and you can't straighten them out anymore than is shown in the second video because the actual cables are much shorter than the light bars. Trying to bend it presents a bigger issue because it then puts SO MUCH torque on the connectors I felt uncomfortable as soon as making the connection. The ends of the lighted strip are so large that if you, like me, have a board with the front panel USB header immediately next to the 24-pin ATX connector, you will need to either forgo the USB or shave down the connector housing of you front panel link to make room for this monstrosity. It also makes for one heck of a cable management issue if you don't have a stellar case to accommodate the connectors in the back. Also, specific to the 8-pin GPU connectors, they are split into two cables which makes it hard to make them visually appealing (see the first picture where the Lian Li Strimer is a solid run) and you also cannot flip them over to accommodate different GPU power sockets so depending on your card, you're stuck in one configuration. ... show more

  • Controller not included, doesn’t work on 4 pins without a controller
Length: 8 PIN VGA
Product says the controller is included, it most definitely is not. Can’t install because I only have a 4pin RGB header and no 3 pins on my Asus Z-370 II. Also the install directions are by far the worst I’ve seen on a product. Cables are very thick and make it difficult to hide regular VGA cables connected to the extension. Also the left two cables are disconnected from the rest and the thick white tubes pop out of the brackets, causing the ends of the tubes to become frayed and very difficult to put back into the bracket, causing the connectors to never line up. ... show more

  • Large blocks make is useless for most Graphics cards
Length: 8 PIN VGA
So I got these because I simply could not get the Strimmer Plus 8Pin ( I already have the PSU cable). The design is terrible, the massive black blocks on each end make it impossible to properly cable manage due to them being separated by almost an inch of space ( 2080 Super ). The effects look cheap and I thought it would match my Strimmer and my XPG memory. I was wrong, not only does it look like cheap plastic tubing the cables are very, very hard to train to anything other then a rising GPU position. Long story short, if you have the time to wait and a few extra bucks, get the Lan Li Strimmer, it's better in every way. I returned these a day after I got them due to them just being plain ugly and not fitting with any of my GPU cards properly. ... show more

  • Very solid
Length: 8 PIN VGA
Looking at other people's photos, you can see that the base PSU side was brighter than the GPU connection side which really bugged me for static color (red). So then I downloaded the Gigabyte RGB fusion software since my X570 has a Addressable RGB LED connection. When connected, there was 14 other functions besides picking a static color for the cables. However, unlike my XPG memory there are no 2 tone settings so only single color or rainbow modes. (my case fans are blue led while my CPU fans' led are green which is why i need a 2 color system and i just picked green blinking setting since its closer to the CPU than the case) ... show more

  • Beautiful! Rgb implementation!
Length: 8 PIN VGA
So I ordered these because the loan li strider plus was not available. I personally thought that these would just be a temporary fix for my rgb psu cable addiction. I was pleasantly wrong. Installation takes about 10 minutes. The cables are breath taking. Very bright. I did end up hooking them to my 3 pin argb motherboard connector which lets them be controlled by software. I can’t really say anything bad about these cables, just look at them in the pictures!!!!!! ... show more

  • Only works if the GPU connection clip faces the back of the card
Length: 8 PIN VGA
These only work on cards were the hook for the connection clip faces the back of the card, making them incompatible with most cards. Furthermore they are waaaayyyyy to short even if they are just extensions. They're look very out of place. Awful product.
