  • Do it All Trimming Tool
Size: Medium Teardrop
I am a beginner potter and originally tried the Hsin Chuen trimming tool, which is so nice and sharp, but has a really strong learning curve in my opinion. I trimmed through multiple pieces with the sharp edges on the Hsin Chuen tool and clearly need more practice with it, but in the meantime wanted to get a stronger tool in a shape I'm more familiar with. I tried this Xiem tool and it's been amazing. It's sharp, easy to clean, and does everything I need it to. I have it in the medium, and I'm going to pick it up in the large for bigger projects. ... show more

  • Sharp
Size: Large Teardrop
Love this for trimming. Smooth cutting and easy to use and handle. As good as the more expensive ones. Not sure if it’ll last as long as titanium though.

  • It’s okay, but dulled quickly
Size: Small Multi-function
It’s an okay trim tool. I thought it might replace a few similar tools but it’s not easy to use the rounded and squared off sides so I mostly use it along the long edge. It dulled within a couple months so now when I use it it just chatters.

A studio mate offered to let me use this tool and when I got home I ordered one for myself. The quality is good, the handle ergonomically wonderful.

  • Smaller than anticipated but great
Size: Medium Teardrop
I thought this was a larger tool, but I actually love the miniature size of it. It cuts really well and is very sturdy, I've had it only a week and used it to trim a bunch of items and found it excellent.
