Plan to use these boat fenders this weekend with our new boat, so I will update my review after use. This 4-Pack of 6.5" diameter boat fenders arrived with fenders deflated. There are 4 fenders, 4 ropes, one manual air pump, 4 pump needles, and 1 page of instructions for inflation. I'm not sure why 4 pump needles are included, as I only needed 1 to inflate all 4 fenders, but we can always use extra needles for pumping up basketballs. It took me a couple of minutes and a little elbow grease to manually inflate each fender. But very easy. Instructions read not to over-inflate, so I made sure there was slight "give" when I pressed on each fender. There are NO instructions about how to tie these ropes onto the fenders or boat, although it is partly intuitive and partly deciphered by looking for a random online video. Thank you! ... show more

    • Solid mid-range boat fenders
Pretty decent set of mid-range fenders, especially at this price point. If I were just leaving my boat at a dock long term, through any kind of weather, and it was a heavy boat, I would spend more than this and get super heavy-duty fenders. But for normal usage, or short-term storage, or a lighter boat, these are more than good enough. They are also considerably better than some others I have seen at this price point. The fender lines are cheap quality rope, but they work. They also have really tiny eye loops. Pump is, as expected, also of a lower quality. But it works just fine and is not going to be used all that often. Or you can just use another pump. Material feels durable and has a nice color and finish. If your needs are middle of the road, or even a little higher, these should definitely do the trick and then some - and save you some money. ... show more

Went to my local boating store for purchase, only to find similar bumpers to be prohibitively expensive. Came home to shop online and found these. I was able to purchase 4 for the price of one locally. Not sure why? Quality and material thickness seems to be similar. No brainer in value, 4 for the price of 1, I'll do that all day long. These fenders came in such a small box but they are some of the best quality fenders I’ve seen. The pump that came with them might have worked but I wasn’t interested in pumping so I used an air compressor and they look great. The several included inflation needles was a nice touch. One of the bumpers was a little stuck together but eventually succumbed to the air pressure. These bumper work well and were easy to thread the robe and install on out pontoon boat. ... show more

Good Size and Ropes Included for Tying up to Boat I ordered the 6-1/2" fenders. 4 shorter lines were included. The lines had an eye spliced to one end to make it easy to attach the line to the fender. The lines were not high quality but were good enough to do the job they were supposed to do. Also in the package was a small hand pump and 4 needles for adding air into the fenders themselves. The fenders did not come inflated. They were very flat when I opened the box. The small hand pump would eventually inflate the fender, but it takes a long time, especially to inflate all 4 fenders. I cheated and used an air compressor. It only took a few minutes to inflate all 4. Just be careful to not overinflate them as you can give them too much air and the fender can be damaged beyond use. These fenders were of very good quality. The manufacturer adds a white logo on each fender that is visible but not so large as to be distracting. I put them on my boat shortly after they arrived, and they look great. ... show more

Overall this boat fender kit is a win. The fenders themselves feel durable and the branding/logo is small enough to not attract too much attention. The included pump comes with 4 tips with 2 slightly different types. All 4 have an air hole at the tip, but 2 have an additional hole on the side. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely slightly strange. Either way though, the pump takes forever to pump up the fenders. I ended up pumping one with the included pump then decided to do the rest with my air compressor to save time. Fender lines are put together in a pretty thoughtful way. The cut ends are reliably heat sealed to prevent fraying and the woven end loop is covered with heat shrink making them look pretty premium. I did notice a couple imperfections in the fender lines though. Nothing that would cause functional issues, but definitely unexpected in a brand-new line. ... show more
