I have family of all ages (5 - 71) riding these snow tubes and extremely happy with construction and love the fact the air stem is short and comes with a blunt cap to avoid injury! You might not love the price but, you won't be sorry you invested in such a quality product.

The media could not be loaded. For now, this has a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, it hasn't snowed here yet so I cannot give it the ultimate test. I will say, this is a nice kit. It seems very sturdy, both the inner tube and the canvas cover. The canvas cover is what takes the beating so hopefully it will stand up as well as I think it will. I took pictures of each step along the way. I really appreciate the kit coming with the value stem tool and the nice valve stem cover that is thick and rubbery to help prevent injury. Ever get stuck by a valve stem? It's not fun. One small complaint I have is that the pictures for the listing don't totally represent what I ended up with. It's possible I need to inflate the inner tube more? However, as it is, it does not fill up the canvas like in the videos and picture. I felt that I had enough air in it and didn't want to over stress it. So I will try blowing it up more when I take it out. But you can see how the inner tube sort of floats around inside the canvas in the video. All in all, I cannot wait to get this out in the snow with the kids. I'm sure it'll work great. Just note, these things can really fly. Make sure you have a counter hill or some way to stop/slow down and that there are not big, solid items along the path! Safety first! ... show more

Although we had difficulty keeping these inflated, customer service reached out and offered a replacement. Even when the replacement didn’t work, they offered a refund. I’m hoping our experience was a fluke. Like most reviews, many people are thrilled with their purchases. We just didn’t have any luck. I am very pleased that customer service made it right for us.     • Disappointed with how it works with snow, will use it for the creek instead
The reason why I wanted this item is because we were thinking in using the tube to slide down one of the hills we have in town with my son whenever it was snowing. I took it the first time it snowed and it doesn't slide that great, it goes down slow, I had to use different slides to play instead and put this tube back in the car, since the other ones were faster than the tube. I still think it will work during spring or during the hot months so we can use it for the creek instead, but for snow I was disappointed. Another thing I wanted to point out is that in order to inflate it, I went to a gas station and it wasn't that easy to put the air on like any regular tire, it was more difficult because the valve is short and hard to grab it while putting air in. ... show more

This review is for the XGeek 44” heavy Duty Snow Tube in Blue. This arrived in the mail just in time for the first real snow of the season and man we LOVE This thing! It is much heavier duty than other tubes we’ve purchased in the past. It feels closer to what you’d see at a commercial snow tubing run, but not commercial grade, definitely a “Prosumer” version. I really like that an alternate valve cover is provided; It is much more substantial than the one that shipped with the tube. This thing is best filled if you have an air compressor, but I took a few pumps with the Hycline Bike Floor Pump [ASIN: B0B9LXGM8F] that I just reviewed. That pump isn’t the greatest, but it actually worked pretty well to top off this tube. Included are a replacement valve core and core removal tool (the red piece and the small almost spark plug looking thing). For us the valve core was already installed into the tube and the tube came with a cap. Historically this has not been the case which is probably why they were included in this kit. The canvas cover is nice and seems to have held up well for the first run down our local sled hill (and it was FAST) and I suspect will last many seasons. The inclusion of a tow strap is nice, and the strap is big enough for my ski gloves to fit over it. ... show more
