  • Really comfortable
Size: 7.5 Color: Black/White
When I first got these I almost returned them as they look so wide but they're supposed to be, so although i didn't dig their appearance, I kept them. Happy to say that Im glad I did! So comfortable that I always want to wear them and now I think they're super cute!!

  • All the feels - literally!
Size: 10 Color: Black/White
Love the wide toe box, washable in the machine, designed to wear without socks but I prefer them with. Love that you can feel texture through the sole for a real mind-body connection. I feel they have kept me from falling. I wear mine with Naboso textured insoles for even more brain stimulation.

  • On my second pair!
Size: 7 Color: Black/White
These are light and durable and let my feet feel the ground. I love them and will keep buying them.

  • Shoe size roulette!!
I have never worn Zero shoes, but I have worn other brands of minimalist shoes, merrel and vibram. On amazon I ordered a 5. When they arrived the shoe box said 5 but on the soles were printed 5.5, they were too small, my toes bump up at the top when I walk. So Zero must run smaller on amazon because they are the older un updated sizes? I went to gear.com and ordered 5.5 in the same style, the shoe box and soles of their shoes sent were both 5.5 and fit perfect. The gear.com shoes were slightly larger than what I received from amazon, even though they both had the same size printed on the soles. Super confusing about sizes but I like these shoes a lot. I don't think they are true minimalist shoes because they are slightly thicker soles, they look real cool and are super comfortable. They are a perfect go anywhere shoe. It's also optional to remove the insoles to be closer to the ground. ... show more

  • No more leg injuries! Yay!
Size: 6 Color: Black/White
I suffered a very bad calf sprain six months ago. I couldn't walk for a month and the healing took 12 weeks. And the pain! Ouch! Little did I know, my previous cross-training athletic shoes were causing me to land on my forefoot, which puts tremendous strain on the calf muscles. I ignored the building pain and blew it out on my next landing. When I started to play pickleball again, the familiar pain came back but this time in both legs. I had to go home early twice and was very concerned. My physical therapist told me that I have weak ankles and it was causing my feet to turn in. It was then that I learned about ankle strengthening and foot strike. Three books later, I learned that proper running posture requires flat shoes and an upright stance to avoid injuries. I have been playing pickleball with the Xero shoes for two months now, and I have no calf strain. I did a lot of running for the ball tonight and I have felt fine. Whew! Injuries averted. The fit is fine and very comfortable. It took me awhile to get used to my weight being shifted to my heels. This uses a different part of my leg muscles and my alignment sort of falls into place. I try to wear them at home as often as possible to correct my posture. These shoes and a standing desk were my two lifestyle changes to alleviate further stress on my legs and back. I will be buying more of the workout shoes and the sandals. I love the custom color options offered with the open-toed sandals. ... show more

  • Life changing shoes!
I'd been suffering from a torn tendon for about a year - going to a podiatrist and in physical therapy, trying every "supportive" shoe in the market, inserting arch supports in them all, and listening to my podiatrist when she said I should never walk barefoot again. By luck and chance, I decided to start working with a well-educated trigger point therapist and the first thing he said was "why are you wearing arch supports when you already have high arches??". Good question. If my arches are already high, then supporting them means causing them to arch even more, pulling on the tendons around my foot. As he said, humans were born without shoes so we should be walking around as if we don't have them on. But we as civilized humans want to protect our feet from the elements, nature and man-made. He recommended I try barefoot shoes and after ordering a few different types and trying them all on, walking around my house for a few hours each, I settled on these because of the snug feel around my narrow foot and heel and because even going without socks while wearing them, the inner sole of the shoe didn't rub wrong in any places (not on top, not on the bottom). And the type of laces used by the company stays laced when walking. All the shoes I'd been wearing over the past year made my feet ache after a few hours in them and I simply wasn't healing as fast as I wanted to. After wearing these barefoot-type shoes for about a month, allowing my feet and arches to spread out, I'm starting to even run a few days a week! Now, I wouldn't recommend anyone not take the advice of their doctor, but I would recommend thinking logically about the advice being given and consider alternatives. These shoes are one of the best decisions I've made for my health in years! ... show more

  • Needed Podiatry care after wearing these!
Size: 10 Color: Delphinium Blue
I give these a ONE STAR. Yes! as advertised these shoes help your toes and foot to feel everything under them. I was so excited because of the wide toe box for my 9.5 size feet with my second toe being longer than my big toe. (a curse all my life in getting a good fitting shoe that didn't hurt) If you like barefoot on rocks then definitely go for Zero shoes. or...don't spend the money and just go barefoot all the time! I damaged my one foot and needed some serious podiatrist care with exercises and a podiatry boot to wear! No...it wasn't a podiatrist scam. The Dr also recommended brands of shoes I could wear and told me to never go barefoot again even in the house. They said these shoes were the absolute worst thing for anyone's foot. To date (3 months later) I am pain free and wearing a good pair of New Balance Shoes. Does the seller scam you? can't say...maybe they are good for "someone" but not for me. And your podiatrist will say the same as mine did. ... show more
