UPDATE!!!--- I have realized the reason it doesn't stay close on the top is because I did get the zipper on a little off track and it's also why it's not closing all the way. I was able to reposition it ( took some effort but it worked) and I got it to close completely. Idk how I did but I got it to bunch up a little when it closes which was an accident but turned out to help. I tested it out with my fist and I can't poke through or open it the way it did before. SO I think this is better and will be more secure for her and she won't be able to break out. Original review: I bought this for my 5 week old kitten so she had somewhere she could feel safe away from my other 2 cats and because she was so small it was just safer for her at night. Be warned, the reason I have it 3 stars is because the zipper top is wayyyyyyy too easy to break out of. She’s only 5 weeks old and still pretty small so that’s how easy it is. I zip it up and it leaves a small gap that she uses to push through and open the top up. The zipper top just comes apart WAY too easy. So I’m going to have to find something else. If the zipper thing wasn’t like this then I would’ve given it 5 stars. Because despite that, she has her little box in there and she eats in there and naps there too when we’re at work. I just need something more secure so when I place her in there, she can’t bust out in 2 minutes. That’s half the reason I bought it because I thought it’d be secure. Now idk if mines just defective and that’s why it’s like that or if the gap when you zip it up is supposed to be there. Either way, not a fan. I was a little skeptical at first but this playpen is great! The pictures I provided doesn’t even do it justice. I bought this for my 5 week old kitten I found to keep her separated from my two year old cat. It’s will also make a great healing area for her when she gets vaccinated and spayed. I ordered a size Medium and it was big and spacious. You don’t have to build this play pen at all, just open the bag and unfold it. It didn’t come wrinkled and it comes with little Velcro patches about the door way so you can fold up the door. It’s so cute and spacious! ... show more

I use this for my 2 chinchillas to run around a few times a week for about a half hour. The mesh part has held up very well. The cloth part, however, has seen better days. I tried to patch the holes but since the fabric is so thick, that was a feat within itself. If your pet is a scratcher, I wouldn’t necessary suggest this for you. I bought the small one first but it was not practical for sleep, feeding, litter box, and play. My kitties are too small to be around the dogs yet so this works good for them when I'm busying around the house. Just take the annoying toys out when you go to bed and tie a long string to the zipper to open and close the top part. That's if you can't walk around it. I did figure out how to fold it down with the little one. It was hard at first. The left joint on the door folds first then the 2nd one to the right. That makes a W. Love this for my Maltese, that is 15 years old. He is gentle and calm, so this is perfect for him. My only complaint is I wish the company provided better instructions... a better video on how to fold the pen. There is definitely a learning curve, lol. Also the bag is way too small - useless!!! I can't get the pen into it... so I don't even use the bag. I just use the strap and carry his bed and blanket with the pen (see attached photo) ... show more

I love this playpen. I bought it for safety for my kittens for when I have guests over and don’t want them to get out. I also travel and this will be so handy as it comes with a bag that can fit in my suitcase. So glad I made this purchase!! Highly recommended it for cats or small dogs.
